Always interesting to see new options for comparing prices.

I've used anime export before, the price was good but delivery time was super slow.

CD Japan isn't bad. I have been contemplating picking up the updated 30th anniversary set of all the Jap TF themes and the music video dvd as they have them. Mmm. Ued the store in the past and dispatch, packaging and prices were decent.
They also sell the Generations books.

Used them years ago for the Armada CD singles. Expensive, but all Japanese CDs and DVDs are.

MASTERFORCE
Is there a feedback/recommendations thread for retailers buried here anywhere? I just wanted to say that having asked here about Masterforce last week I put in a couple of orders in the week and was really impressed with the customer service. Friendly and helpful in answering questions. Deffo on my whitelist now. I picked up a loose complete Animated Safeguard along with the TAV figures super-cheap (£5) which turned out not to be complete after all, but one quick email later and the missing bits are already in the post. They have my money for the dreaded Fierce Attack. Recommended outfit.

No we don't, a glaring oversight. So I shall slighty edit your post and sticky the thread.
Now when it comes to feedback of a less than positive nature, which I am sure we will all share over the coming weeks and months, factual comments only, let's not have it descend into some of the feedback threads I've seen in other less civiised corners of the interwebs.

I haven't, but they sponsor one of the bigger Transformers podcasts (TFYLP) who have a good relationship with them.

A question for Kapow users.
So I put down a fiver deposit for something a while ago but after looking at my budget I can't afford the thing. I don't mind losing the fiver but I can't the pre-order showing anywhere when I log in to Kapow. How in Earth do I cancel it? I'm worried about being billed for something I find I can't afford anymore.

There is a contact us form on the website, use that. The address used to be contact@kapowtoys.co.uk, but I'm not sure if they have changed that or not. Use both!

I started collecting by complete accident a couple of months ago and recently started viewing this forum as a guest but registered specifically to respond to this post. Kapow are one of the best UK based retailers I've come across so far. I've put in a few big orders with them as well as a few MP pre-orders, only had issue with one thing. (they sent me Slog instead of Slug and missed a small Kreo item off, was sorted after 2 emails with the package sent the next day and told to keep Slog as an apology) Use the contact option and email them explaining that you want to cancel your pre-order, you won't get your fiver back but you should be fine cancelling it. If you used the guest checkout then signed up I don't think it keeps a record of orders on your new account so try and find the order confirmation email. You should get a reply from Mat or Andy fairly quickly. I also believe that if you pre-order don't pay your balance within 28 days of receiving the balance request they cancel your order/put it back up for sale. I wouldn't do that myself as I'd feel too guilty at the thought of leaving them with something they might not be able to sell again.

I should have probably asked this before throwing £100 their way but has anyone used Visiontoys.nl before? Good range of stock, some very well priced especially with the exchange rate and shipping was pretty cheap.
Can I expect to wait 3 months for my parcel to turn up?

I hadn't come across them until last week. I was looking for something random and they came up, they get good reviews, have a good range and if the worst come to the worst my uncle lives in Amsterdam so I'll send him up to their offices.

They seem pretty spot on. Received an email from them, items were sent earlier and sent through the Dutch postal service which can be tracked from start to finish.
I'll update further when the parcel turns up and it hopefully isn't just full of broken bricks.

Good news, I can confirm Visiontoys.nl are safe to use. Postage trackable from start to finish, everything intact.
Bad news, it might cost me a fortune. I've already put in a second order.

These days I'm favouring TFS Express over Kapow; their prices are a little better but so is their customer service, which has dipped a bit at Kapow in recent times. Also a more professional website.

I tend to use TFS Express if they carry the item purely out of loyalty as I used them first, and as you say, their customer service is very good.
Kapow really do need to get someone to look at their site. It was bad before, but the recent redesign made it worse. Very outdated menu system and they ignored feedback asking them to display whether items were in stock without having to click on every one. I also found instances of items being in stock but not actually listed under any menu, they were only accessible by searching, which is rubbish for a retail site. However, website moans aside they're a great place to buy from.

I've also searched for stuff on Kapow and came up blank but found the item when just browsing through the menu options.

Having moved a BBTS specific question OUT last night I've added a set of links to the retailers who have their own threads to the first post and rounded up a couple of very similar themed threads on "which retailer/import shall I use?"

I'm trying to find an imported product in the UK. Kapow, IDToys, A1 and 3 Darths haven't got it, or don't have it at a decent price. Any other options before I chance the red hot poker?

The web front end is not good it has to be said, but the shop is run by the guy that organises the RORC convention. His stand at his shows is usually well stocked. It might be worth ringing them to ask for something specific as he does have a physical shop down in the New Forest.

In the light of yesterday's Micromaster discoveries, I've modified the list on page one.
If there's anyone major I've left out, then LMK together with their web address

You haven't got TFSExpress on there. Rock solid and very supportive customer service. They've been my go to for import purchases since 2013.
