web addresses is the one thing they do spectacularly badly because they have three separate sites depending on what you want. The best thing to do is: Pre-orders: preorder.tfs-express.com/In stock items: omegalock.co.uk/

I am finding both those sites confusing. They are full of 3P stuff that still seems to appear in lists when I try to filter them off.

The websites are completely rubbish. Users complained ages ago they wanted to be able to filter out out of stock items, which triggered a series of successive changes that have just made the sites worse and worse. Basically the best way to navigate them is by going to the pre-order site, hovering over the pre-order menu and then clicking on the section you want. On the Omegalock site, hover over Transformers and do the same. They are primarily 3P importers and have a sister company in Hong Kong that runs through a third website. In terms of proper Transformers, they're good for anything that Hasbro Asia gets. Like I had Siege Jetfire over a month ago because that figure reached Hasbro Asia before the UK/US.
I don't understand why they think their sites are user friendly; I'm a huge fan of the company but would be the first to criticise actually finding anything on their sites.

Hovering is difficult to accomplish on a smartphone...

Oh, just press. Works the same way on mobiles. The menu will stay open.

I saw that posted on Kapow's FB. I didn't know if they were just plugging it or if it was new. I must go and have a look myself. Seems odd that both he and All The Cool Stuff are both down in the New Forest.
Dangerous though, I always buy something from him at TFN. Having an actual shop close by could be expensive!

I hope he allows returns, unlike his TFN stall.

New Milton seems a bit of an odd place for it. I used to go to school there. Other larger and better connected towns nearby.

As Phil said, Paul has just moved to that area, plus the shop rent is super low and it’s close enough for dragging in the Bournemouth tourists.
There was a good turnout while I was there too!

Seems odd that both he and All The Cool Stuff are both down in the New Forest. But then both Kapow and ID are in Norfolk. I guess folk in these places have to make their own entertainment...

I will be checking out a couple of vintage toy shops in Blackpool weekend after this week. I will report back.
The vintage place I went to last summer and forgot to say where was in Gloucester, Southgate St. It looked like a new store then and doesn't show on Google maps yet but was opposite Brunswick Baptist church.

Bad news for fans of yahoo Japan, shoppingmalljapan is going out of business. I tried placing a bid today, couldn’t and emailed them about it. Just got my deposit refunded.
Going to try out Buyee!

That's a shame. A pity they didn't send out a message informing users so they could request deposits back though. I've just sent my request through, hopefully it'll be ok.

Ive been using Zenmarket. If something ever goes wrong they may end up being no better than SMJ, but so far so good. They do offer a photo service for items once they get them which given my experience with SMJ I should use but at £3.50 a time it would quickly add up. But useful if you have concerns.
Flat rate fee of 300Y for purchases, pretty good range of options for packing and shipping and after the first 5 (i think) purchases they give you 10000Y credit rather than having to permanently leave a deposit. After 10? it rises to 40000Y.
Only annoyance so far is that they give the weights of the items Ive won when the recieve them, so I use that to try and figure out the best groupings to post to the UK to stay under certain weight limits. No matter how much leeway I give myself they always seem to over package them in to the next price bracket. Everythings always well protected but it often seems they just Amazon style grab the nearest oversized box and pad it out.

Anyone fretting about getting US exclusives, I use a service called Stackry for US bits. Gives you a US address to send stuff to, then you can consolidate and ship to the UK. Plus you can declare the value of the items yourself to avoid fees. If you sign up with my referral code, you'll get $10 credit to use against shipping [and I'll get $10 credit if you use the service]: www.stackry.com/en/register?referral=7243086Avoid getting anything too large/heavy, otherwise you'll only be able to send to UK via horrendously expensive FedEx option. Consolidation is $2 per package, so can add up if you get loads of things. And better to avoid buying loose items on ebay and the like, unless you can ask the shipper to bubblewrap/protect the item really well.

Frustrating week of not resolving issues for me.
One, of course the Geeky Nerd boys are proving frustrating with their whole 'I think we sent it but I'm not sure' stance on customer service, still unresolved; two, having finally cancelled my preorder for Selects Galvatron with Kapow I had an email several days later saying, no problem, refund will take two days. Four days later, no refund; and three, the in stock Selects Galvatron I ordered from Toysarama thinking I might get it quicker than Kapow has been 'preparing to ship' for ten days. I was really hoping post Easter weekend that all three of those problems would be sorted by now, but none of them are!
