Not unless Takara have some more repainting up their sleeves which, given Megatron, isn't beyond the grounds of possibility.

Well, the entire point of making Doublecross a targetmaster who comes with Blurr's haywire seems to be to get haywire out there without a blurr reissue as a targetmaster, so people don't need to buy a second blurr to get it.
I would have sworn everything up and down they would do the same thing with Windblade and Fracas. She made the most sense. A non-targetmaster, a bit of a harder sell than the others, so an incentive like "buy her to complete your scourge!" would help be a selling point.
Doing other targetmaster repaints like Spoilsport doesn't do anything to address this.

These toys are pretty much fictionless outside of a few toy pack-in mini comics no one takes seriously.
It's no less "wrong" than putting haywire with a monsterbot, or making any of these guys a headmaster.

They blew the sweep with the sharkticon.
I had expected a scourge and blurr reissue as targetmasters, as that made a lot of sense. With the sharkticon/sweep, you could turn your extra scourge into a sweep.
Then they were announced without targetmasters. And then Doublecross was announced with Haywire. So it seemed that they were looking to put the two targetmasters with other figures so you could just swap 'em without having to buy an expensive double for a stupid accessory.
When you looked through all the new molds released up to that point weighed with the ones who haven't been, Windblade is the only one they really had to release Fracas with.
And this line does not seem interested in doing random recolors. Not doing the sweep makes that painfully obvious.
I also have my doubts that a G2 optimus will happen because 1) we're about to move into POTP, and I doubt Takara will carry on the TR molds much longer, leaving out superfluous repaints. And 2) they already got that unique tooling used with Black Convoy. Yes it was an exclusive, but they can still say it was released domestically.

I've been playing with that Windblade last couple of nights, which was an impulse purchase. I don't think she's as good as the RiD one. Certainly don't need another one.

I too have no interest in purple Megatron.
I will, however try to pick up the Autobot and Decepticon clone packs! Phil will tell Ralph when HLJ pre-orders are up for them.

I do like that Megatron. I do. And I'm not just saying that to escape the wrath of the Hub. (I am). But I'm not sure if I can be bothered getting it. I like the original Hasbro release, which I've Reprolabelled up to be MTMTE-accurate(ish), and I don't want two versions of that mold. Even if the colours are nicer. The only thing swinging it for me is Noble/Savage. Which is daft. Of course.
Windblade I *do* like. I really like that cockpit deco. But I've already got that mold, and again, I don't think I want to splash out on getting her a second time. Only to end up with a homeless Targetmaster. Hmmm...
