Hmm. I should have asked about a student discount, shouldn't I?
There is indeed air hockey. Contest of champions. Last time I was there I got thumped by Jen from the babies'r'us department so now I've got something to prove.

Nothing more dangerous than a man with something to prove.
I'd better bring my special air-hockey mitt

I'm so excited, and...and lads? I just can't hide it. *chooses not to parse mental image* Soon indeed it shall be Friday. Looking forward to seeing folks for banter and hijinks. It has been very much something to look forward to over the course of an "interesting" working week. Karl

Well, at Strathclyde Union today Ralph proved himself the still-fairly-disputed ruler of the pool table. One vaguely competitive leisure activity down- two to go!

Soon I shall beat them all, plus other folk, at other stuff. Let Mankind beware.

A most excellent night it was too. Much fun was had. (At least, I can speak for myself and say I had fun. Can't presume to speak for anyone else).
Good to see Martin again, and good seeing folk in general really.

Thanks for making the trip up to see us.
In other news, the after effects of the mighty gathering resulted in around 3 and a half toilet rolls being used in one morning at Burns Towers.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank Ralph for allowing me couch-space, and to Andy for paying for that Taxi, which I've just remembered. Karl, thanks for the promise of Micromasters. Thanks to everyone else for making it a great night!

I just wish I could remember why monkeys suddenly seemed so important by the end of the night. -Ralph That will I suspect remain a mystery beyond our ken I'm afraid. Glad that folk were able to make it, be they travelled from near or far, the banter was good and it is always nice to see people in physical rather than virtual space. No worries about the Micromasters Gav. I shall dig them out - I've found the big box of Microcombiners now, all I have to do is dig into it and search out Devastator from amongst the Six-builder, Six-wing and Six-liner components..... It sounds like you all had a jolly good time.
Mind if I make up some captions for the pictures?
1. The Superglue Prankster strikes again! 2. Nick auditions for the part of Balok in the new Star Trek film. 3. Andy has succumbed to Martin's hypnotic stare. 4. Ralph wonders just what he can feel. 5. Egged on by Ralph, Nick gets his boot in with RID Magnus.

In the third picture, that look of Martin's has some real purpose about it.
