When you look at what they've done there with the different price points and integration of the various remaining areas from G1, it's very clever. Prime Wars is going to be one hell of a toy collection when Pottop is done.

There's a gap in the waves there too - first wave Dec, second April. No Feb one. I'm pleased with that. The proximity of the December wave to Christmas and the lack of restocking before Feb has frequently created problems. We've had Feb waves skipped here, or delayed several times. Stunticons especially. Note the deluxe don't have dates on and have 4 waves. So they might still get a wave around feb. |

A third Arcee in 4 lines might be overkill but Paradon Medic fits that set and has a suitable (if terrible) mould already available.
Which other Autobot cars havent had the CW treatment?
Surpringly hard to come up with realistic non strike plane decepticons considering they are the flying side.

And there's *another* thought that vexes me, since I've yet to get the box set that the Triggerhappy re-paint/mold is in, becuaase that's the only figure in that set that I'm actually interested in. I'm holding out for a Takara single figure release. But if that doesn't happen... dammit... Anyhoo. Aren't these all just so sexy? Like the previous couple of lines, there's a hell of a lot there that I want. I mean I was excited for the Pretenders anyway, but... Predaking! The Beast! (Maybe less excited about that...) Also, why the assumption that we'll have an all-female combiner? Can the girls and Jazz not combine with Inferno? Or... and here's a thought... maybe Inferno will actually be a Pyra Magna repaint. That'd upset a lot of people... Interesting, though, that if these are legitimate leaks (and they look like it) that they still don't mention the combiner elements on the later slides on TFormers. That'd upset a lot of people... The image used there is a Hot Spot repaint, which we thought Inferno would be all along. I'm very happy with that. Female combiner: I see a female Voyager and two female limbs and a need to apologise for Victorion and say this is what we should have done. Similarly Jazz and Inferno are both Diaclone Autobots. |

We think "God dammit Hasbro" Depends on how much they market them as sets and not just 'this one is a torso, this one is a limb!'. As a kid, my mum would never let me buy a combiner part if all weren't on the shelves at the same time. Also I remember Energon doing poorly due to this. |

Given how many times they've used the fire engine version I do wish they had done a more traditional fire engine now.
The only fire engine this lends itself to is RID Prime which still hasnt happened.

What do we think about packing combiner components in different waves? Those images on Snakas' blog don't mention combination as a play feature on the Deluxe and Voyager pages. You'd think if it was a big thing it would promote that point, so it feels more like an undocumented bonus feature. It just says the Primemasters plug in, not that they do anything. |
