I've only ever interacted with any of these Micromaster bases by looking at these catalogue pictures. And now it turns out... they're all lies? My world is shaken. It's worse if you're a Rock Lords fan. The catalogue shows the combiner Rockasaurus Rex thus: The actual toy released looked like this: Martin Huh I thought I put my proto pics online, there are a lot of protos. At one point he was going to have a weird scooter to drive around on

It was going to be sold seperately. God knows why. They were also going to be sold seperately and as a giftset, the below is the only image we have of that (for now!!)

Blue wrote about this on his late lamented Rock Lords site. www.rocklords.co.uk/2016/05/prototypes-stonehead-playsets.htmlThe tumbler action feature made it into the film - Stonehead got expanded a bit from that. If this set had actually come out I can imagine it being more desirable now than the Fossilsaurus.

Ah, Bandai and Tonka there, taking a leaf out of Mattel's "how to business" book by showing and advertising product but not actually being bothered to release it. Genius.
