After a previous ebay purchase failing, I finally got through an MFT Slag from another seller. I realise I'm late to the MFT Dinobots, but this is a great figure. He definitely ticks a box for me that the PotP version, while good, didn't quite hit. There's a chunkiness that works well. The transformation has a few unexpected parts (although the bit where you have to fold the tail sections past the arms/rear legs does need everything maneaouvered *just so*) and it all makes for a great figure.
The additional sword to give you a choice between clear red, or matching silver weapons is a nice touch, and the random Diaclone driver is an odd inclusion, but welcome since I've now got a couple of spare suits from other MFT purchases that could use a pilot.

What's the scale/size on these MFC Dinos?

Slag is a bit bigger than Generations Warpath on my shelf, so I'd say basically a chunky deluxe. Definitely smaller than a Voyager class, but a nice size.

Picked up MakeToys Visualizers and Iron Will at the weekend on the cheap from Mr Hitchens. Good set of lads.

Well my first ShowZStore purchase came through today. The BSL KO of Unique Toys Peru Kill. Peru Kill was always under the “looks amazing but can’t afford it” list in my house, so this KO was very welcome. He is indeed amazing and doesn’t disappoint in person.
Got the version that comes with three of the dog things. Less fussed about those but yikes their teeth and claws are sharp.

So if Inferno isn't a Wrecker and without a viable Rack'N'Ruin, I think that's it for the TFUK Crew isn't it? A Xaaron would be nice.

Yep, ya just need to magic a Rack'n'Ruin out ya ass and you're golden! A proper comic accurate Xaaron is long overdue, isn't it. From some 3P company or other. That's what 3P should be about.

Lord help me I seem to have lost my mind over 'Small Scale' Classics! Just received a 'Rager', legiony scale Huffer by, err, Igear was it...? Very tidy little Huffer. Fits perfectly with the likes of the official Legion figures, Flipper, Hot Soldiers Ratchet and Ironhide, deluxe Optimus, Megatron, deluxe Strike Plans...
I'm supposed to be reducing my collection!!!
Help meeeeee.....

Christmas has bestowed upon me a Masterpiece styled Huffer, cunningly hiding under the pseudonym "Huff". Um. Clever.
He looks nice as a truck. I shall let you know when I have time to transform him.

I have Huff! Coupla looseish joints, but looks superb. A great fit for any Masterpiece collection!

Okay, I like Huff. He looks good and is nice and simple to transform, not like the nightmare that was Not-Windcahrger. Nothing loose on mine that I can tell, either!
I'm gonna need a bigger MP shelf...

Result this morning. Last eBay coupon day I went for Fans Toys Koot from a Chinese seller. I used a load of nectar points too, so with the extra discount I only paid £14 for him. He has just arrived, CUTA free. Well pleased with that! Rodimus Prime has a friend. All of a sudden I'm collecting Movie Masterpiece figures.

Oh yes. My three Dino babies. NEVER loose them... NEVER....
(I always think of you, Pinwig, when I play with Scoria, when I transform him, when the small child puts a pony on his back... I ALWAYS think... of you...)
Optimus Prime Prowl Wheeljack Bumblebee Brawn Huffer Grimlock Slag Sludge Megatron Shockwave Soundwave Ravage Rumble Frenzy Laserbeak Buzzsaw Starscream Thundercracker Skywarp
Need- Jazz Mirage Ratchet Ironhide
THEN STOP!

MMC Sphinx is a brilliant Mirage, very much in the older MP style before it all went Sunbow and easily as good quality-wise. I suspect Downbeat is just as good a Jazz, but I've yet to be in a position to buy one.

Yes if I ever have available funds those two are deffinate possibilities. Downbeat certainly looks a MP-17 style figure. Very impressive looking.

Speaking of Jazz, the postie just dropped of Iron Factory Rushbeat for me! This my first Iron Factory figure, and I'm very impressed. Very high quality build, plastic and paints. Interesting design. G1 with their own slight twist. He's even got speakers in his shoulders! He's smaller than I expected- a head shorter than Hot Soldiers Ratchet and Ironhide. Which does still work, although the aesthetic is different. He looks fantastic with New Age's Flipper! That's a great match. Deluxe Classics Optimus is in the loft currently, I'm concerned he maybe a bit small next to Op, but we'll see, it'll only be by a shade.
So I yeah, very impressed. So well made. All for 22 quid! I thought I'd better grab him as they're doing some of my other Faves, like that amazing looking Wheeljack we saw a few weeks ago. And there's also some Prowl's upcoming in this kind of scale (and indeed Iron Factory have their own Prowl... somewhere...). I do have doubts about those Prowls fitting in with Rushbeat's aesthetic, as Hot Soldiers Ratchet and Ironhide do. I may come round to it, but side by side, you can tell they're from different ranges. And if I'm honest, I prefer Iron Factory's aesthetic. Very nice looking indeed.
Edit: I lie. I have Burning Slug, Iron Factory's Warpath.

Today I picked up the Legendary Toys KO of Striker Noir. Cracking toy and one I’d have been tempted to pick up if it had been re-released (I know there’s talk of the metallic coloured Striker Manus, but this mold works better in the Black for me - largely because the alt mode looks better I think).
Loving the look of the figure and the weapon pack is great fun. Loading fun up with weapons really does look like the Nemesis Prime/Scourge death machine he is.
Still slightly surprised Maketoys never released the weapon pack separately.
