Okay so today I got the Ace Immortal series Hiccup and Tumbler ("mp" Hubcap and Cliffjumper).

These guys photograph a lot better than they look in hand.
Their quality is questionable at best. Every reason why badly done diecast is a bad idea (featuring overly heavy, washed out sculpting, fragile connecting points, and loose floppy joints), plus weird proportions, flimsy plastic, bad joints, terrible connections, head suspended over a hollow cavity held up only by joint tension, and can't really hold their guns.
I pity anyone who paid full price ($75-80 each) for these. However if you grabbed them for BBTS's clearance price of $30 for both, these guys are a steal. They each come with a hand gun, a giant bazooka, two different heads for Cliff, a display stand, AND DISPLAY CASE.

On the smaller side of things I finally got around to picking up New Age Flipper. I was really happy with the Hot Soldiers Goldbug I bought last year, but this wee guy really lives up to the hype. I reckon their upcoming Cosmos is a must-buy for me now.

Yesterday I got the KBB version of the Perfect Effect Ultra Magnus/Jinrai Prime figure. Sadly, got hit by customs which took a little of the shine off of it, but its still a great wee figure for the money. Not perfect certainly. Some of the plastic is thinner than I'd have expected (ok its a KO, but I believe the original had some of the same issues), and the ab crunch is so tight I'm frequently convinced it'll snap before it moves. But its a brilliant looking wee Prime/white Magnus, and well worth grabbing if you see it going cheap.

It does also come with the new chest section and neck piece so you can use it with Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus, but I was only really interested in getting it as a stand alone toy.

Well, he displays realy well with Flipper. Hot Soldiers Soundwave is a bit large next to him though. Kinda works, but Harry's a bit small next to Soundwave. Harry is way too small next to Iron Factory Jazz, that does not work at all.

I can't get over how good the construction is and how good the plastic is and how good the sculpt is and how good the transformation is. Bluestreak lovers should deffinatly get Murphy when comes out.

I need to stop collecting these small scale 3P G1y figures though. Especially as many are different scales. I'm going a bit nuts for them. I'm supposed to be streamlining my Collection, not adding to it! At least they're easy to store...

Newage are worth keeping an eye on though. They're putting out very high quality and brilliantly designed figures. I have their Cosmos on the way which looks fantastic. £20 a pop. Cheap in a way, expensive in another way. Maybe I should sell on my Masterpiece collection to fund my small G1 Collecting habit...

Harry, Flipper and any of their Newage friends will look AMAZING with Siege Omega Supreme... make Omega look HUMONGOUS.
