Speaking of New Age, there are pics about of the Bluestreak and Smokescreen versions of that mould. When it comes to Datsuns I've always been a Prowl man, but my word that silver Bluestreak has turned my head.

Sadly the space for proper displays vanished once the kids turned up  Now its whatever I can cram onto the computer desk, which is usually the newer stuff I'm currently mucking about with, and then it gets cycled around with the boxes in the attic. *edit* just seen those Bluestreak pictures. That is damned nice. Of course, the nice thing about new age is they take up less space on the desk  |

Pissed about that. TFE said they were getting a second batch so I waited and didn't go for Kapow's restock, but now TFE say they can't get any more. I'll have to wait for a rerun.

That's not a bad price, but the postage will push that up. Given this is the first figure in a set of five, FT would be bonkers not to do a second run. I just need to get back into the habit of preordering.
Silverbolt, Blurr, Brawn, Warpath... All looking exceptional.

Got 'Mech Fans' Laserwave aka Shockwave. I think it's a third party third party, but I get confused. He's the same size as Hot Soldiers Soundwave and is a very tidy small scale Shockwave. He is rather... lavender... though. It's ok'cos the figure's so solid, but I do wish he was a darker purple.
...Heh, LAVENDERWAVE!

Picking up Maverick tomorrow. Bit disturbed by these rumours that he doesn't actually feature in Superion's combined mode at all, and there's another body piece that replaces him, but I have faith in Fans Toys. I reckon it'll be like Roadking where the thinking seems to be a second trailer that'll form part of the body by connecting to Roadking's torso mode. Really looking forward to this one. He looks ace.

Mechanic Studio GRUMP! Legends Gears! Never had a Gears before! He's fairly basic and blocky looking, but does a great job. Has an excellent facial expression. And he was inexpensive.

That Gears is next on my list. I've got the Huffer and by coincidence today received the Pipes from that line too. I really like them. They fit right in to CHUG scale. The only thing I wish they'd done for that Gears is offer a swappable face plate to switch between toon and toy. That would make it perfect.
Also got Maverick. He is one majestic looking MP Silverbolt. Regardless of how Superion turns out, the FT Aerialbots are going to be one amazing looking team.

I have to say their Huffer is better than their Gears. Gears just seems a bit... simple. But he fits in great and looks more than good enough. I want them to do a Brawn.
