Finally got a chance to open up FT Stomp today. He is soooo heavy! But yet another glorious Dinobot from them

Mine is enroute. I was hoping he'd be here today, but he's coming with Forager which has slowed it up it seems.

I have just released Fans Toys Kickback so he can stand alongside his Insecticon brothers. This is a sublime set! every bit what Masterpieces should be. They ooze quality. Very, very happy to have the three of them together. If Takara made figures this good, the MP line would be an entirely different proposition.
Stomp is going to wait until the weekend I think.

....Where's my Stomp....
Yesterday: CW Menasor Perfect Effect torso/head kit, which is BRILLIANT.
Today: MMC's Ocular Max Jaguar. The 'MP' Ravage. Still pondering him. I like him, he's piggin' huge though. And not cheap. But has weight to him. I think he weighs more than MP Soundwave! I may do a review. He's a keeper though. Official MP Ravage just doesn't do it for me. The Classics one that came with Hound is better.

Good lord what have I done. I'm used to 3P sets taking several years to complete, not several weeks. The false start on the Euro release of the Toyworld Constructicons (the first two were delayed while the moulds were fixed from a production fault) means that all six will release here within five weeks of each other. First two arrived at the start of the month, next two today, and the last two are due to be shipped this weekend. Pandinus ain't got nothing on this; it's wiped my toy account out totally!
However, within a fortnight I shall have a Devastator of truly magnificent proportions. Well I say a fortnight. Grud knows how long it'll take me to combine the thing. Doing Warbotron took out most of a Saturday.

You may consider yourself demanded upon for a full report, dear Pinwing.
And by the way, I'm turning the same green as an expensive but magnificent Third Party Devastator....

I can't believe I have just won both Fanstoys Stomp and Forager on ebay for a mere £46! Now just have to wait and see if they actually turn up...

That does seem awful cheap doesn't it, but you never know!

Wow, that is fantastic! Well, it's unreal. That's cheap for Forager alone, let alone Stomp. But sometimes eBay miracles do happen.

I'm still amazed Mixmaster has a clockwork drum. They're chunky these constructions, less refined than the generation toy ones, but they're beautifully G1. I don't regret switching. Need the FT Reflector set now and I reckon, perhaps maybe dunno, I could be done with Decepticon MPs. Is a complete season one team a good place to break? Not sure I could do that with the Autobots though. I'm just not sure I want to spend 450 quid on three strike plane remoulds. Oh but I wouldn't be able to resist a proper mp Astrotrain.

Oh crikey, that's expensive! Hope it's a good one!! I know. I've heard good things about the original Wardog toy but I wasn't keen on the paintjob. That weathered repaint is lovely though and i missed the preorders so promised myself if it came available I'd buy it. Expensive weekend right enough. £130 on that, £200 on a Hot Toys Batman, £115 first installment for TFSS 5.0 and preordered pretty much all available Titans Return toys.

SWAP WIVES!!! DAMN YOU!!!!
-ahem-
I'm a big fan of Badcube's designs. Their figures I have, Huff and Brawny, aren't totally perfect, but they're really nice figures. Been eyeing up their Insecticons (they're cheaper than Fanstoys).

That's because they're plastic. False economy not to go FT. Their insecticons are stunning.

So in my absence, the fifth and sixth Toyworld Constructicons arrived. Which means I have all of them now. But they've come so fast the previous two are still unopened (being away all week didn't help). That's all six bots in a third party combiner in 34 days. Fast work Toyworld.
I have a two foot tall MP Devastator then, but lord knows when I'll get it combined.

There's been a disaster! Paypal made a mess of my payment to Kapow, it sent an echeque instead of instant payment, so it didn't go through properly. Wardog Veteran is now sold out and I can't find it in stock anywhere else. Andy at Kapow is trying to get another one for me but I'm not holding out any hope. I noticed there was one on ebay the other day as well. Now I can't get it, I REAAAAAAAAAAAALY want it.

Which reminds me I must open mine to check it. 3P is not subject to my usual angst about toy opening because of the frequency of problems, but with all those Constructions I've got a backlog!

Just found a boxed "Starforce" Batrain at a car boot sale. Box is trashed but the toy, styrofoam insert and instruction are in amazing shape. Its just missing the trains little lantern and the 3 missiles.
What a great (not so) little toy.

Getting caught up with myself after some busy weekends: Willis slots straight in, looks perfect. Worth the time we spent building them in these caverns... Now I just need a holiday to find the time to combine them. Maybe next week...
