I still need the big electronic Snarlie Narlie but that's it.
It's rare, expensive and crap. A difficult combination to justify.

Got the last of the Iron Factory DJD set through, now made the combiner. It's certainly.. something. The build quality is at least fantastic!

Liked the Mechanic Studio Gears so much, I went for the Swerve remould to go with the Pipes they did. Four stonking Legends figures from those people - Huffer/Pipes, Gears/Swerve. I really hope they announce another one soon.  edit: Also, balance request for Fans Toys Goose. Soon there will be two MP Aerialbots in the house! |

That is a good looking robot. Solid, not too much heft but just about enough.

I also received over Christmas - so not counted towards 2020's acquisitions, but not mentioned sooner since she was immediately re-boxed due to all my travelling and I couldn't remember the actual name of the figure - Transform Element's Black Widow (not-Blackarachnia). It's an okay robot mode, but the transformation into spider mode uses a lot of parts, which is a bit weak. The feet on the spider mode legs though are ridiculously sharp, so that's either a plus or a minus, depending on what sort of mood you're in.

Iron Factory Merac (the DJD's Tesarus) arrived yesterday, and I couldn't wait to open him so had to use special quarantine measures to open the box.
He's... okay. I must say that I'm slowly going off Iron Factory. They're small, sturdy... and have really boring and/or annoying transformations with frightening tension on some of the joints. Unless they do something that fills a hole or looks particularly good, I don't think I'll be bothering with them again in the future. A shame, since I loved my first couple of figures, but they seem to be uniformly "solid, but not exciting".
Merac himself is a decent enough rendition of the character, but his alt-mode simply exists, with a lot of compromises made for the combined form - which was the gimmick I bought the team for in the first place. And I didn't have time to try that out last night, so that'll be for this evening, after I've learned how babies work...

I will, but as it looks like Fans Toys are going to do the set it'll take a while. They've got Beachcomber coming some time this year and a new version of Seaspray to replace the one they did before they shifted to toon aesthetics. Presumably Cosmos and Powerglide will follow but as they've got about a dozen toys on the slate it'll be ages yet. I'm hoping Astrotrain will be soon.
