Burns: Wreck-Gar = Wrecker That only works if a Gar is a thing. Which it isn't. Gar are a real thing. We have them here in texas. Has no relation to Wreck-Gar that I can discern, though. ...should have totally been in Beast Wars, though.

They are ancient. Wanna say they've been around since the mesozoic, but I'm not sure? There are three or four species, and that's an Alligator Gar, the largest. Despite appearance, alligator gar are harmless, unless you mess with them. They can survive out of the water for long periods of time, they have two sets of teeth they aren't afriad to use, their scales can slice you open, their heads are almost completely solid bone, i believe their flesh is inedible, and their eggs are poisonous. They're very hard to kill. Stress is about the only thing that does it. The only predator they have is us (because Trophies).
They're also critically endangered. Here in texas during the summer, our creeks and bayous dry up and they get stranded. Wildlife services fly around looking for them, and when they find them, they net them and carry them back to the rivers. Every single one is important for their survival.

Also, Wreck-Gar's name is combing the words Wreckage and Garbage.
Because he's made of junk.

Not a pun, but Bump is named that, as in "Speedbump," because armadillos are often roadkill.

Just the other day I was on board the burger 'Skylink' bus which I call Skylinx because of the colour and I realised that Skylynx was a pun name! Sky + lynx. It is a space plane plus a lynx and lynx = link!!! I was astonished by this sudden revelation! -Ralph And because the Dinobird and the Lynx links together to form the Shuttle with booster mode.

........I'm an idiot.
I knew Windblade is a massive literal fan reference. She's the Fan Chosen figure. She has fans in her wings. She has a fan in her sword. She has a fan as a hand held weapon. Her name is a reference to a fan...
But in all this time, it never dawned on me that she herself is an Optimus Prime fan.

I get it now. -Ralph It's amazing how some seemingly obvious things remain hidden until you say it out loud. I follow this amazing artist who has an OC named Annie Mae. I've followed hin for years across multiple platforms. He's easy to find, because he calls his OC concept setting "The Annie Mae Project." For years, I never noticed the pun, until one day last year, I happened to randomly say it aloud.
