As always my advice is: keep the toys you like, move on the ones you don't.

(found the right thread)
I like them all, I don't have room to take them all on with me so I'm trying to apply some logic to the disposal
*TECHNICALLY* I do not need complete bonus sets of POTP Dinobots and Terrorcons, when I have them combined and the unopened Selects boxsets, but I do like have the individual robots of these to play with

I've had similar thoughts recently. My Siege one went to fund buying the Earthrise one, I couldn't see a need for both. But I also have the CW leader and the SG version as well as the SS86. SG is going nowhere because it's such a nice deco, I'd like to keep the CW one just because it's a different era/style. The Earthrise one has hung on because it's the one with a separate truck robot, but really, it's never going to get used in a display over the SS86 one.
So all my modern era ones have struggled so far bar Siege, which just seemed redundant. But you're right, as mine are all in box that's a fair chunk of storage space when I did say to myself ages back, one Generations toy per G1 update.
In short, Siege can go because why do you need it? Cybertron Magnus as shown in Target 2006 looked just like the SS86 one.

Looking back at this thread, I realise that I never really did do that big clearout! I planned to, and have loads of TF in individual bags with the intention of putting them on ebay. Has never happened, the pile just gets bigger...

The thing I did with the initial phases of my clearout (Years 1 and 2 of the Great Reavings, recorded in verses 406 through 410 in the Rememberance...) Was to decide that I was going to work on the logic of marking the "best" version of a character for keeping where I was looking at getting rid of duplication - where "best" was determined solely by my own very subjective criteria:-
Which one is the best designed? Which do I enjoy fiddling with the most? Which is the most interesting to look at? Which is the most likely to be fetched from storage in the future? Which do I feel the most attachment too.
Thus, for example, I chose to rehome Classics Starscream and Reissue Starscream, and keep MP03-scream.
If I were applying the same logic here I would suggest that you should decide which version of Galaxy Convoy you are more attached to, Siege or original flavour, keep that one and rehome the other by whatever method you are using for that.
Likewise, I would look at the CW/Legends Ultra Magnus and decide which of the two I felt more strongly about and rehome the other. (In my case it was easier - I only had Siege Powered Convoy and CW Magnus left to consider, and I feel that the Powered Convoy colours are "just better". So the CW departed for Toyfu.
I can't make the decision as to what to keep for you. All I can do is offer a method I used to make that decision at the time.

I am happy to put in an offer if anyone has stuff they want to get rid off en masse, but it won't be as much as selling things yourself on ebay! But it will be quick and easy. Message me if thats the sort of thing you're interested in.

I don't have unopened Selects boxes. All opened Selects boxes long since sent to recycling. -Ralph Likewise. Why on earth would I have unopened boxes - that would mean I had never played with or seen the toy inside, and for me that would mean I had gained nothing from owning it. I also rarely keep packaging these days - I have kept the Star Saber packaging, because I suspected I would end up moving that on. But selects boxes are just cardboard containers, and take up too much space to be kept. Karl
