Well it's fifteen comics in one book but without the editorial pages. The strips are excellent by the standards of IPC comics of that era. I'd say it's worth it.

I think the problem with Hookjaw is that there aren't many places you can go with the story. The one in this issue is pretty good, but it is the same old stuff reheated. I absolutely love the Johnny Red stuff though, the art is amazing and Garth Ennis tells a good war story.

Yeah. I just wondered if it had been spotted in the wild. I waited a good few weeks for my Smiths to get the Misty special but it never showed, which is unusual because specials usually do. The last 2000AD Sci Fi special did. Forbidden Planet say 13th so I wondered if it had been put back a week. No matter, if Smiths don't have one next weekend I'll get it from FP. The postage is cheaper than the tooth shop.
