Very glad to hear this. They've finally listened to the constant cries for Eagle and scream reprints in the bagged floppy with the Megazine. I would love to see those comics reprinted properly, in fact I'd just decided to embark on trying to collect the new Eagle through back issue purchases.

Yeah the Pre 1970 stuff is owned by Time, Dan Dare by the Dan Dare Corp.
Everything else though should be in the bundle.

They have some cracking stuff in there. So much comics history - and so much of it rather forgotten (things like Tammy and Misty tend to be even more forgotten than most British comics but are an important part of how the medium developed over here).
Fascinating to hear that they are considering exploiting the IP for things other than reprints as well. Anyone up for "Hookjaw: The Videogame"? Be the shark, eat the humans... :-)

This is good news. Rebellion have handled 2000AD well so there is hope for good quality repro on reprints and characters being dusted off for new material. Not a company to sit on assets. I had wondered if this was on the way due to the Monster strip from Scream! being traded by them (I must have it!) and the Misty collection which is due soon.
I wonder if this spells the end for Hibernias low key reprints.
UK comics are still badly served in being kept in print compared to US material so all good news.

I'm not sure if I read an issue of the regular SCREAM! comic due to how old I would have been but I do remember the Specials. All comics that said the word 'Special' on them would pass through my hands!

I've picked up a couple of Hibernia's previous special issues (the Eagle Special, Doomlord and House of Daemon) and they were really well put together with repro far above what I would expect from a small press publisher essentially chucking out fanzine level print runs.

I wanted the Eagle one, but forgot all about it, so I'm glad you reminded me about this one.

I've picked up most of what they have put out and like Ralph have been similarly impressed with their work.

Missed out on Tower King and Dracula Files. Worth hitting up Hibernia on the Book Of Face to ask for reprints if possible. It has been mooted.

It's Ghastly arrived yesterday. Very impressed with the visuals. Looking forward to a read. This is going to prompt a Scream re-read I can already tell.

Read it this afternoon. Very well put it together. Apparently it is selling briskly so get in quick, folks. It has a tale by The Furmanator!
Looking at the feature on the Specials, that triggered my memory. I did indeed read them back in the day so my exposure to SCREAM! was more than the strips that transferred to Eagle.
