Made time to enjoy It's Ghastly this evening. Very nicely put together. Thoroughly enjoyed that trip down memory lane.

Hibernia on FB reports that 'The Lawless Touch' from Tornado comic is the reprint comic bagged with Judge Dredd Magazine #382. I am pleased. That format seems a natural home for material from this archive that wouldn't support full price trades.

Excellent news, that's fantastic. That'll be the issue on sale in March.

Snagged House of Daemon last time.
Yeah, I want Tower King as well.

One Eyed-Jack to be followed by The Leopard From Lime Street (late of Buster) as the second IPC book from Rebellion, according to this week's tooth.

Fondly remember the Leopard of Lime Street.
Glad to see it getting a collection.

I've never heard of it, but a quick image search and a read of the wiki page makes it sound interesting. Not a typical Buster style. Spiderman copy? I'm game.
My inner geek hopes they do all these with uniform spines as a library collection. Then I will have to buy them all.

I doubt it. Monster and Misty have the usual Tooth spine trade dress. Which reminds me that I have still to pick them up. Next payday!

They came out before the archive acquisition though. But you're probably right. Sounds like there's quite a diverse range of books on the way, so they wouldn't necessarily fit into one overarching collection anyway.

I do agree though that a distinctive trade dress for archive non-Tooth volumes would be lovely though.

Makes so much sense when they must know people like you and me like a nice uniform spine.

One book a month is a faster release rate than I was expecting.
I remember the Thrillcast interview with the previous reprographics woman who was leaving at the time. Very pleasing they take that aspect so seriously.

They do, and you really can see the difference when it is done well. Peri Godgold has done similarly amazing reprographics work for Panini.
I recall on the podcast that volume 1 of Tooth Dan Dare took a year to do. I must get volume 2 at some point. And Volume 2 of Ro-Busters. And Misty. And Monster. I can feel a big Rebellion order in the mid-March payday packet!
I will be picking up the other reprints when they start. I feel I need to support older UK Comics finally getting properly curated. If no-one buys them they will go away again.
The rights are still elsewhere but the dream is to have all of the 80's/90's Eagle reprinted as I have very fond memories of it and it does not deserve to have vanished into obscurity. It ran for 10 years!

I read the Eagle until Transformers started. I've bid on auctions in the past to try and win year's worth lots of those; I'd love to read them again. I have about half of the first year.

I dipped in and out of the Eagle over the years, but would love a complete run of Doomlord.

Yes it was.
Didn't Doomlord run the entire length of the comic's life? that would be something! Could they reprint the photostories? I've got the first run of those in the issues I have. It's brilliant.
Which reminds me, House of Daemon came from Hibernia at the weekend, along with Doomlords of Nox. Looking forward to reading those.

Yes, but a quite short print run so I imagine it's one that would sell again. Plus it might benefit from fresh restoration work.

Might explain why Hibernia could reprint House of Daemon but didn't do that.
Cor. Scream's strips in collected books. What a prospect.
