The website says "with your first delivery", but my box was open and damaged so I'm checking to see what everyone else's deliveries were like.
Concensus seems to be just books now, so I can relax a little.

Also can I ask a question about where it is released in newsagents? I have driven to Manchester to get #1,2 when they where released 3 weeks ago & last saturday. But are they out anywhere else other than Manchester? I've heard someone say Hull but have no proof. Are they out in London? I know Leeds doesn't have any in stock (Whsmiths stores)

Hull was only mentioned because in the past it has apparently been a test area for some partworks. |

Picked up my copy of #3 the other day.
The b&w UK strips are coloured rather basically and have been deliberately done in the 'spotty' style of the original US strip printings...
I get that this is technically clever and some sort of tribute to the original UK reprints of the original US strips but the effect is still as naff as then. And then the newly coloured strips are followed by some US material.. which doesn't have the spotty effect in this printing - like the existing coloured UK strips that start this volume.
It's a bit mixed up really.
Otherwise it's a good collection of UK/US stories that really work well drawn together in this way. And the article at the back on the colouring is interesting in itself.

Picked up #4 of this today. It's a chunky issue, very well produced as expected, but with only a few pages of 'extras'.
Despite #5 (War Within) being advertised on the accompanying packaging there is a piece of paper inside saying this issue is the last of the trial and they will now make a decision to go nationwide or not. Make of this what you will. Could be read good or bad...
I really hope this does go 'live' as every issue has been so well made and will build into a very nice collection.

#4 shouldn't have been out until saturday? But hope they then send out the parcels for #3,4 then next week then. Be good to get those 2 issues & see if they have anything in the parcel relating to the paper slip. So it's just #68-75.

Your description of 'smooth not spotty colouring and blue Soundwave lead me to conclude these are the 'fixed' recoloured versions IDW used in their last printing. I shall check when I have them in hand.

I suspect the subscriptions that have been posted out thus far are from whatever excess stock was left after shop sales in the test area.
