Steptoe and Son was a dreadful show. Utterly unwatchable.

Indeed.
Never saw what others saw in it myself.

Yeah my subscription number doesnt work either. The one they sent via a couple of emails including the new one doesnt work and oddly the one that came on the invoices with the trial volumes is one number different but that doesnt work either. If I add the HV to the number I got and take off all but the first 6 numbers I get an error page. Every other combination Ive tried just gets me an invalid number message above the box.

Right. Well I shall call them tomorrow and cancel the sub. I've decided just to buy the Marvel issues anyway. The shitty spine image means I don't need the set now. May get one or two of the better material Dreamwave ones but only if thy have better repro than the dreadful quality IDW reprints (Armada and Energon have awful repro). Already have the IDW Furman material in nice hardcovers anyway.
I just hope the rest of the Marvel UK black and white stories are coloured in properly!

Thanks, tried adding delivery/billing info, it still didn't recognise the email number, but when I put in the subscription number from the invoice it said it had already been added, but Im still not showing any active subscriptions. If it hasnt appeared by tomorrow I'll give them a call.

The new email explaining about the main run starting had a different subscribtion number on it for me that worked when added to the My Subs part of the Hachette website account. Adding the new payment details was simple after that.
Though I'm worried that it's still got the address without the flat number on there...

I have never seen such a piss-poor website for blocking attempts from people to give the supplier money outwith of Fun Pub! It has saved me though. In a mad moment I almost subscribed to Hachette's Star Trek series but stopped due to the shittyness of the site.
In general, I think that Hachette books are excellent and great value for money. If only their website did not let them down!

Thankfully, in over a year I've never had a single problem with the Who one. Hopefully once the real McCoy gets going it'll be the same.
Don't think I'd ever bother with a trial again though.

Not the most efficient of websites.

Finally worked.
As I was leaving work this morning I saw it being put out and couldn't resist picking a copy up. First time Ive been able to buy marvel uk on the high street since which ever of the 1994 collected comics or specials I got.
