Okay, so they seem to have appeared as later additions. Which gives us a six Dinobot team: reuses of Grimlock, Slug, Strafe and Slash, along with a new Scorn Voyager and a completely new Steelbane character. I'm not surprised they dropped Slog from the previous selection. Snarl was as good as the others though. Maybe there will be later waves.
These really do look good from these pictures. Most unexpected. 8 Deluxes, 4 voyagers and a Leader. Sounds like two waves to me.

Oh!!! No, I'd not! I assumed he would be like that guy from Return to Oz that he reminds me of! THATS who it is. I knew it looked like someone other than Wall-E but couldn't place who. It's Tik-Tok. Damn it. Now I need it. -Ralph

It looked ok in dino mode but was a ballache to transform well, looked poor in bot mode and the cheap rubber everywhere really spoiled it.

Pricing info with the image releases confirms what we thought. $20 deluxes, $30 voyagers. That lovely looking leader Megatron is $50, which looks good value to me, and the big dragon beasty with the ultra violet light gimmick is $80.

Me too. I've always thought the Terrorcons needed to be more Demonic. If they do a 'G1 repaint' I'll be all over that.
Errr, what size is this?

The limbs are repaints but the body core is new - you can see the legs have extra joints.

That does indeed look terrible. And I do, as a consequence, indeed want it.

New core might be to make it a bit more stable.
This reminds me, weren't the very first pictures from TF5 suggesting we'd see Bruticus this time? Or was it just a name reuse for Onslaught?

I remember an Onslaught. Don't remember anything about a Bruticus, but it's debatable how much attention I've been paying.

We have not seen anything of the Onslaught - the green crane truck. Could it be a fake or that Hasbro just aren't finished the toy for it yet?

Does the movie line all have an 'unpainted grey prototype look' to it? They'll all look the same on shelves!

At least they'll be movie accurate! Arf.
That Megatron re-paint is... odd.

I'm sure Don is happy with his design being used - or the "No Don we don't want to use your jet Megatron design ever at IDW comic but we are going to later on when you leave the book"

The predominately grey colours of that Megatron repaint are perhaps more Megatron-ish than the original colours but a lot less accurate in terms of the alt-mode colour (B2's being one of the rare USAF platforms that isn't light-grey shades.). Although, despite being fairly dull in terms of colours he looks more promising than Nitro does. But when you stack them both along with Infer-knockers it does look like a dull, indistinguishable bunch all told...

Tremendous amount of mould reuse in this new line. AoE was all new moulds; so far, at least half of what we've seen for TLK is old stuff in new colours.
