Prices for one aren't actually terrible but if I wind up staying 2 nights splitting the cost of at least one of them would be no bad thing.

I'm planning on coming through - still undecided whether to get a hotel room for the Saturday night or not. I'm only 50 minutes away by train, and a return ticket from here to New Street is £15.00. On the other hand, a hotel room would be more convenient than a late train back from Brum...

I did regret leaving early last time, but mostly because I missed Andy getting drunk. If he is not drinking this year, there is no chance I might miss a bright pink fountain (it's a bit like missing the Northern Lights)

I got Friday for about £35-50 with free cancelation, everything close by on the Saturday was at least £70, probably closer to £100. For leaving 3 or 4 hours earlier than we finished up last year it seemed a lot. And I dont feel like the hostel this year.
Having said that I havent sorted travel yet so may have to change plans.
