Have just seen that theres a double bill of Guardians of the Galaxy on the 27th (with Vol2 starting at midnight) and theres an Imax in Birmingham. Now seriously considering going down a day earlier.

I shall sort out buying tickets during the week. I've decided not to get a hotel in Birmingham - as it is only £16 return from here to New Street it is more economically sensible to just donder through on the train on the friday afternoon and the Saturday.

The cause is eggs at a hotel breakfast. Please see posts passim on this matter but especially those relating to the last AA I went to where Burns borrowed my bathroom. I propose Rule 2 is changed to DO NOT EAT THE EGGS, with all following rules renumbered. My first sick day off work for 2 years and 3 months. Ugh. The vom bug may have contributed, but I'm still blaming the eggs.
And it's not as if that's the only egg incident, as the banning of hotel eggs prior to that proves.
I had to use that hotel bathroom all weekend after you'd been in it!

The eggs had nowt to do with a vomitting bug that had me off work for a week. I did check that out with the GP. Sorry, Phil, your endless hate for eggs must stop!
Can you find a time I blamed eggs for illness? I bet you can't.
