The Titan books were alright weren't they? Although they didn't include Man of Iron. However this is getting off the point. Blueshift must read Man of Iron!

There appears to have been a shock conclusion to the weekend at Edinburgh Waverley station.....
I'm sure the parties involved will be along shortly to tell their version of events....

Did Ralph accidentally drop his Space Precint Figure and then accidentally stamp on it?

It relates to cake and who ended up with it all, and who is now crying foul about it despite this being a reversal of a previous incident.

We frown equally on any and all occurrences of cake thievage.
However we do acknowledge that Andu was somewhat down in the cake stakes over the years

Piss off!
There was no cake theft. Events happened in a similar manner to a situation where you had custody of cake, and I did not. You cannot cry foul now, if you refuse to acknowledge that your previous actions were wrong.

Well that was fun! Yeah, the con was a bit of a wash out, but there was some excellent talking of took in the pub and the effort put in to the fun and games was insane.

Yeah the con itself probably does need some comment: Massive queue to get in, loads behind us when it opened. Still loads waiting to get in when we left. MASSIVE bottleneck on the way into the main hall. Couldn't get in for a second trip round. Too many people. Bigger hall needed with more entrances and exits. Too much space in the main hall taken up by the Batmobile display. As ever with modern events with the words "Comic-con" in the title, NOT ENOUGH COMIC DEALERS AND LONG BOXES. Far less than last year. No TFUK, very few TFs, only saw one 2000ad and that was a signed. Not that many toy dealers. One Broken Lift when we got there. The other lift broke while me and Pinwig tried to use it. Colin's minder looked very hacked off and was almost scaring off people from going near Colin! Ralph: this was old extra I pointed out to you starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Olander_Brit
www.imdb.com/name/nm1169403/ I'm tempted to go to the Swindon one to see how they compare.

Those doors did not want to close did they. I was beginning to feel like they were deliberately teasing us, part closing and then opening again. All we did was press the button. You wouldn't get that from the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.

I think the fault may lie with the chaps who tried to leap in as the doors were closing

On train at 16:12, in at Cheltenham Spa at 16:50, on the 17:00 back to Swindon and it was an HST. At which point this happened www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-39757840My train pulled into Kemble on schedule, ish at 17:50. It left at 20:05. It then spent 15 mins tantalising waiting at a red in sight of Swindon waiting for a clear platform. Got off train at about 20:35 Cheque for £29.45 from GWR, the full cost of my return to Birmingham, in the post for the little stay at Kemble the other week! RESULT!
