Just been back through this thread for tips - booked my comic con ticket and reckon I'll head for the Horsefair car park as it seems close enough and way cheaper than all the others. I'm set, but it's just occurred to me I don't think I've got a phone number for anyone staying at the ibis, so if I do manage to get to Birmingham in time for breakfast I'll have to hope to meet up, or if I don't materialise at all because I'm stuck in traffic somewhere, all I can do is post on here to let you know!
If all else fails, I'll be at the Pret a Manger at the station at ten. I hope.

Curse my generosity. I gave nick my bus ticket meaniing i could not take advantage of the burger king offer on its reverse side when i came across one at sheffield station. Frankly the rape cave didnt live up to its name. In the time since andys stay i think its gone a little up market. More of a mild sexual harrassment tree house these days. Or andy meant the other ibis a minute up the road and i had the fear for nowt. Train from sheffield apeears to be stopping at all the stops.  |
