Replacement #17, same error copy so I'll have to request another. They might have got the stock mixed up

Got 17 & 18 in the mail today.
Which is slightly surprising as I had attempted to work the system and skip them all together. I emailed and said "just send me the next two instead please!" as we're now a month behind, and they actually replied and said they wouldn't send 17 & 18. But here they are.
At this point the delay in subs copies is getting a bit silly, but since I am not short of stuff to read I think I'll just wave my arms and say "whatever".

Is it corrected #17?

I'm genuinely baffled as to why subscribers are still getting their copies late. I subscribed to the new 2000ad Ultimate Collection and got #1 & 2 in the mail a mere 2 days after #1 hit the stores. The difference in service between the JD & 2000ad stuff vs TF is staggering. It's like they're totally different companies, rather than (I'm guessing) different departments in the same company.
Genuinely don't regret cancelling my TF subscription and getting it held back with my 2000ad and DWM at the newsagent instead.

I used to get my second issue slightly ahead of the shops but that has slipped now. Not too bothered though so long as they come one way or another.

For those not subscribing, Hachette currently have a code FREEPO5T for free delivery on standard orders (under £25). Just ordered that Machine Man book that came out under the Marvel Mightiest collection.

I don't appear to have received the last four volumes. Chasing them up but even my patience with them is being stretched...

It disappeared from my WH Smiths around issue 7. Fortunately, I'm reasonably close to Orbital and Forbidden Planet and can buy the non-IDW issues when they appear (I'll be picking up Space Pirates in the next few days). I notice we're just a week away from the first reprint of Dreamwave's Sunstorm arc, according to the Wikipedia list. I'll be interested to see how accurate the reproduction quality is, given that it's the first time this has been reprinted to my knowledge. It's also great to see End of the Road (TFUK261-289 and TFUS78-80) on the release list. It's due for release on Jan 10th which, by my estimates, is just 1 day short of 26 years since the story was concluded in TFUK 332.

23/33 (Megatron Origin) and 24/14 (Space Pirates) just turned up in the post. It feels early but in fact is only two days short of four weeks since the last one. These are skinny books!

The latest delivery feels rather late, though the last one was 27th Nov & was *early*, and there’s the bank holidays to take into account. Hope the next one is more prompt.
Hope you all had a good crimbo!

For board members not following along on FB:
So instead of The Dying Of The Light & Titans Return Part 1
we get Dark Cybertron Part 2 and All Hail Optimus
…which I'd prefer quite frankly anyways, so at least we finish off one two-parter before another begins.

Better swapped shipments than endless sending out of recorrected copies as well. I'm still waiting on 27/28 to arrive so doesn't bother me.

At least they can check #31,32 for errors for us. I got my replacement #29 today - but it was #27. So just e-mailled them to see if they want it back because they stated they have corrected the error & sent #29 to me. My copy of #27 was ok with no errors.

Oops-a-daisy! I should have checked here first before emailing Hachette. I only just realised that I'd received 31 and 32 and hadn't yet received 29 and 30.

"You can look forward to receiving your 1st delivery within 28 days"
Sigh. Oh no I can't. Great start...
I know customer service on this collection is poor, but jeez. I'm not even off the ground yet.

I'm not even off the ground yet. I think you must have just missed last month’s delivery. The sub issues are due next weekend, give or take a day.

Ah. That's interesting to know. I did wonder if I was in the wrong place in the cycle. I almost posted to ask that. Ta. I'll hang on a week then.

Where are we now then? anyone had deliveries this week? I'm a week past '28 days for delivery' now. I'm just waiting on the monthly delivery cycle to hit before I complain.

Come home to find a delivery. Not what I was expecting though. Issue 6 by itself. What? I subbed from issue 21 and was expecting that with 22.
Sigh.
