I'd probably go with most of what Phil has already suggested to be honest. Might probably swap out the Armada Thrust for the Revenge of the Fallen version too though - I'm not really a big fan of the Armada Thrust mold for a good many reasons.

funny enough i have several of these molds but different decos!
i have the skywarp mold but in a blue/teal and gold deco from beast machines i think??? a weird mold but i like it! i will have to hunt that one up... i was wondering about the TF prime repaint for skywarp as this colourscheme really seems to work for the prime mold...
the starscream i have but once again a differrent deco, im pretty sure mine is an energon starscream but he has a trans-gray effect going on for some of his body and weapons. still a cool mold, i do prefer the g1ish colour scheme
thundercracker... i dont have this mold, am i right in thinking the big plank weapon arm is fully integrated and non removable? if it is im pretty sure thats why i passed on this guy... the only other thundercracker that springs to mind is dotm repaint which is... eh in my opinion...
ive never even seen the armada thrust, not so sure about this guy... im thinking of going with the rotf thrust as well... its a nice mold and i already have him! im not sure about other thrusts out there other than classics...
yep thats my first choice for dirge, in fact the only strike jet i had really cemented on, such a neat transformation, a nice mold altogther, plus i have him in my collection...
for ramjet, yeah all i could think of was classics or henkai... are there any other ramjets out there?
thanks Phil for knocking up a list with pics and all very appreciated! any more ideas and options are more than welcome! i just think it would be neet to have a more individual strike jet set!

There's Universe Voyager Ramjet. All the links above have links to the name's reuses so you could look for other molds.

There was a Mini-con Ramjet! You get a free Tidal Wave to launch your other Strike Planes from as well!
( I know, wrong sizes!)
Yeah, I see that Phil had beat me to Dirge, that's what I get for leaving my reply open too long, and not checking back once I'd posted!

I think Deluxe is the only scale you can get all six (Plus Sunstorm, with Universe 1.0's Armada Thrust repaint). You can *almost* do it across voyager, with Armada, Cybertron, Universe 1 and 2, Animated, and Prime, and movie. Though there needs to be one more mold released in that range to keep from reusing one twice.
Starscream- Prime Starscream Thundercracker- Movie 1 Thundercracker Skywarp- Animated Skywarp Thrust- nothing Dirge- Universe 2 WWI Dirge Ramjet- Universe 1 Ramjet
Now, Cybertron Starscream was released in Thrust's colors, as a TRU exclusive with Vector Prime. But it was still Starscream. While it works, I chose to go with Dirge, who also has no other representative in this scale. He won out due to name matching deco.

yeah animated skywarp is a great figure amongst my favorites, i did some custom work on mine making his head more g1 and less chin, a vast improvement i feel. is there a voyager prime starscream? wow i totally missed that one! the only prob with this list is i absolutely frikken hate the first movie starscream mold gods... those hands... "shudders and wipes sick off chin"... i suppose i could try and mod some decent hands on to it... yeah thrust is tough... too bad as he is one of my favorites! hey i just found my starscream! its this one. www.tfu.info/2004/Decepticon/Starscream/starscream.htm

Yeah, I dispise the first movie s.eeker mold, too. I hate the design as a whole, but that one is worst of all. However, can't make the list without using it. Either as Thundercracker, or as Ramjet (Admitedly I'd forgotten about Armada Thundercracker when I threw that together. I'd prefer that, personally. Screw Ramjet)
And yeah, there's an voyager Prime Starscream coming. I think he's trickling out stateside now. If not, he's about to. There's also a Skywarp version coming out from Takara.

What about Cybertron Starscream? Was he a Voyager? I know they did a Legends and a HUUUUGE one, but was there one inbetween?

Japan released a Voyager Cybertron Starscream and not the Leader one with crown.

He was also released in a two-pack with Vector Prime as a store exclusive in the US as I recall.

The 2-pack was more Thrusty, and he was also available at Toys'r'us in the west. I remember stacking up mountains of them over Christmas and watching them fly out the door when they were dropped to 30 quid.

I don't have anything new to offer, I think Big Phil's original list was the best idea, I just want to say what a brilliant idea! Collecting each Strike Plane in a different mold!
I'm a big Strike Plane fan, as you know. Especially the original three. I have the original three in G1, Classics, Masterpiece, Robotmasters, Titanium 6", Movie, and knock-off World's Smallest (although shock-horror I am thinking of stream-line operation in the future). I also have the 'Cones' in Classics, and Thrust and Dirge in Armada (bizar as they are!). They are very iconic to me, again especially the original three. Masterpiece are my faves. They teleport me right back to 1984, baby!!!

I don't have anything new to offer, I think Big Phil's original list was the best idea, I just want to say what a brilliant idea! Collecting each Strike Plane in a different mold! cool thanks i just wanted tao give the characters a bit of individuality. yeah the big three have always been favorites, but i have always liked thrusts aesthetic and dirges bio always made me like him (being an old goth). but deep down its always been skywarp for me... all that glorious purple and black... mmmmmmmmm. the list as it stands. energon starscream i forgot i had this guy and he is a really cool figure. TF prime skywarp, his colours just work so well with the creepy bot mode thundercracker im thinking the dotm mold. im not the hugest fan of the dorito but this mold is quite nice really dirge hftd. i really like this mold, alot. such a cool transformation plus a nod to the conehead! thrust rotf. once again a cool mold doesnt really say thrust other than colour but a nice mold... ramjet... ah ramjet im thinking either legends of cybertron (if i can find one) or classics... although using the classics mold for ramjet seems like a bit of a waste and to be honest i cant bring myself to split up my classic strike plane gang... hey just for laughs. aside from wst can a legends scale strike plane set be made?

From the Generations Legends ThreadLiking Rodimus less now I've seen him. I don't think I'll be bothering - Cloud Rodimus is enough Rodimus for me. But I'll have to get Skywarp to complete my Seekers trio. Especially since this is probably the first time they've bothered releasing all the Seekers at once in the same line since like G1 or something. (And I mean without the missing, final Seeker being a Japan/Con/etc. exclusive.) Llamagod is a BAD MAN for using the S-Word! There's been complete 84 jet trios issued in Armada, Robotmasters, Masterpiece (twice), Movie, Dark of the Moon, Animated, & Arms Micron. A complete Classics version exists spread over Classics and the original Generations if you're willing to count that. And if you're not then this time doesn't count either cos Starscream was T30 Generations Legend and the other two have been in Combiner Wars. All 3 appeared in Cybertron, but Starscream was a different larger mould in that line. There should be a complete set of the three owl face chested Leaders in Combiner Wars.

I... was not aware that Seekers was an issue. Next thing you'll be telling me that Rumble is blue, and not red...
And, yeah, I know that all three have been in various sublines, but one of them has always been hard to get hold of - or at least it's always seemed that way. That two of them were in the main line, and one was a store exclusive or something... I could be mis-remembering, but it's seemed that way to me.

The Armada set were all easily available here, to the point of Thundercracker and Skywarp being solid cased

And you bit. All too easy... ;-) (FWIW, I agree with Rumble being red.) As to the Armada jets, maybe the distribution just wasn't great in the uncivilised wilds of Southampton... ;-) (Not sarcasm, btw - now I've moved to Glasgow I see so, so many more toys in the shops. It's wonderful...)

They didn't exist in the original run chum but it has been used since.
Still it is nowhere near as cool sounding as Strike-Planes.

"To seek" is a phrase that implies a considered and planned endeavour to find a particular person, item or location (c.f Grail Seeker), by its very definition the phrase Seeker is inapplicable to Skywarp due to a very questionable faculty for planning and considering. :-)

Considering though that Starscream ain't gonna get what he's after until the day he dies, I think it's a very apt term... ;-)
