And, you know what, no matter what size the Dinobots and Predcons are, the Dinobots should be AT LEAST the same size as the Predacons- NOT SMALLER!!!
The Predacons dwarfing the Dinobots is silly is anyone's mind's eye!
Including YOURS, Docktor! Go on! Admit it! ADMIT IIIITTTTTT!!!!!!!!

I have nothing to admit.
Scale in Transformers is utterly impossible so I don't let it worry me.

I never linked the Dinobots to the Predacons. The predacons came out when the dinobots finished.

They overlapped in 1986 in the US.
Dinobots were first sold 85, continued into 86.
Predacons were first sold 86, continued into 87 in the US and 88 in Japan!

I think we associate the two here in the UK through their memorable comic confrontation!

I think I figured out what it is that's bugging me! His waist, sure, but that's not all.
My image of Predaking and the predacons are almost solely from the toy catalogues. They were barely in the comics over here, and the cartoon was gone for decades. So my image of Predaking is toy based. His torso was the same size as his limbs. Here however, even though Razorclaw is the same size as everyone else, they expanded him in torso to like... twice his size. Therefore the other predacons look way undersized to me.

A wall of time... a frontier beyond which even the so-called "Lords" of the "Great Houses" do not venture... What could be in such a mysterious void?

That actually looks really good. It is very toy-etic and Super Robot in colourscheme, and it is an impressive box-full of toy.
Does look rather fun.

There's a difference between factory applied and sticker sheets. I've found the latter are fine.

IF they have a mountain of Predaking at TFN, and I am weak, I could see myself getting one. The main problem is that the Dinobots are so horribly out of scale with them, but as I have decided not to get the Dinobots, this isn't a problem anymore.
If the Preds had been done at retail scale and the Dinos as a larger boxset... now we'd have been talking.

My joy judgements are fine! What's wrong with that? Applying stickers isn't everyone's bag, but that doesn't stop the sticker itself being okay.

I am no fan of sticker sheets but if they must exist I expect good quality ones. Lego stickers are well made. Hasbro current stickers are Poundland KO quality, which is a real shame.

I found applying the Fort Max and Trypticon stickers fairly relaxing and I've had no problem with them, so that doesn't put me off the Predaking sticker sheet.
That said the quality of stickers in PotP have been bloody awful, so hopefully this sticker sheet echos the previous Titan releases, rather than the current pre-applied stickers.
I replaced the stickers on Rodimus Prime with the Toyhax ones and he's all the better for it.
Viewing some of the video reviews circling around, I still can't see myself paying full price for this set, and its not without its problems (the recently revealed giant gap at his waist for example). That said, it does look like a good fun toy and if I can get it in a sale, then it looks well worth picking up as I could see him being something you'd sit and muck about with quite a bit, plus its something I'd be happy letting the kids loose on (unlike say the Feral Rex KO, which has caught my eye as a neat looking piece, but would probably fall to bits if the kids got within range).

ATTENTION, ATTENTION
PREDAKING IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT A TOY FOR RALPH!!!!!!
There are some very very annoying things going on with Razorclaw and Divebomb's wing pack during combination.
Razorclaw's robot/rear beast legs don't seem to go anywhere till it's all assembled. They need to be in beast mode during combination and you should look for the diagonal slots on the side panels and lock them into tabs on Divebomb's wing pack. The legs will be at an angle in the back which looks odd, instinct says the back should be flat. The holes on the yellow surface of Razoclaw's feet are what the cannons plug into.
The instructions are VERY unclear on this matter.
The lower torso, the bit that has attracted attention for being too thin, has sides that fold out and do not tab in well. The amount of weight this thin piece is carrying in combined mode worries me.
Tempted to get Nick on the train NOW to make sure I've done this right....
