I liked the first two episodes - the two Hasbro released worldwide via Youtube before they region locked them.

Region locking in this day and age makes me shake my head.

Okay, I'm caught up. It was a slow start, but it gets a lot stronger. I like it considerably more than TFP and nuRiD.
My opinions on Bumblebee have only solidified. His radio voice is much more obnoxious than movie or TFP, but I like him well enough when he can talk normally. I'm even more adamant now that they needed a VA with more range to pull off the radio clip thing.
I like Cybertron. You know, this is the first time it actually feels like a war zone. I like the use of the seekers as the troopfodder. If we haven't had a dozen G1 reboots and G1 inspired series, this one would be much more exciting.

I'm watching this on CN, so up to ep8 so far.
I have to say I really like this show. It's aimed an older demographic than RiD15 was. Taking lots of tropes from the IDW comics. The art style is the closed we have ever got to the Marvel UK comics!

Sat down this afternoon to work out where I'd got to with this and got caught up. Turns out I was four episodes behind once I'd picked all the new recordings out of the repeats. So I'm done up to 16 now, just 17+18 next week.
It's a funny series. The episodes are so short they feel like snapshots - rushed and economical to keep things brief. Yet the ongoing story behind it feels more transformery than NuRiD did because this is about the robots almost in a context we understand, rather than the 'hunt the escaped prisoners' idea. There's a lot of Cybertron in Cyberverse and it attempts to connect with older fans like having the old oil house and characters like Rack n Ruin. It's a continuity I'd like to learn more about, but just as it gets interesting it keeps getting snatched away.
Once Grimlock turns up it also makes it clear that Bee and Windy alone is too small a crew to carry the series. A third character makes it feel more complete and it helps this Grimlock is a really good version. I also quite like the idea the Seekers are mostly female. Somehow that works with the sleek styling.
There's a lot to like about this universe, it's just being hampered by having to tell stories in 11 minute chunks.

The only thing is that it's not on at all - not even repeats so no clue when 17,18 are going to be aired

I'm enjoying it better than all the previous animated series, which, bar Prime, I gave up on.

I am now caught up to episode 3, and I wish they would take more cues from Season One, and Steven Universe regarding plot layout. All three episodes have been 20 minutes episodes distilled and condensed into 10 minutes. Too much is happening, too much going on, then it's over. Season One seemed much better handled. The second Megatron vs Starscream fight alone should have been the focus of an episode, on it's own. It would have had much more impact, and really gotten across exactly how badly Starscream screwed up.

Bit weird this. Pop has now finished Season 2. The whole 18 ep run is on my recorder. Which I say is weird because it means the UK is well ahead of the US, where this season is due to finish in Jan. For a new run series they've hammered through this incredibly quickly with two episodes every day. I can only assume this is something to do with the rights moving to Netflix? Did someone say that was happening? Feels like a rush broadcast before they lose the series to someone else.

S1 is on Netflix. I haven't seen any news about s2.
A War for Cybertron series was announced for Netflix a while ago though no news since.

I hope they figure out the pacing for 11 minute episodes better this season than they did in season 2.
Also... Does anyone else get Vince diCola vibes from the score?
