Good point up there about the first vs. future lines.
The first Pretenders were too big (shells) and the robots too skiny. I didn't much like that about the Autobots. I loved the Decepticons being monsters though.
But then, later, with future Pretenders having smaller and more exotic looking shells and the robots being smaller, it was a tad more fun.
I would like to see the little Pretenders reissued as sets.
A nice TFC type box with Octopunch, Bludgeon and that gay wrestler would be ace!

I really loved the idea of the Classic Pretenders. Even though I never actually own any other them. I always wanted them to do a second wave of them. Always imagined Prowl, Wheeljack, Soundwave and Ravage, or even Shockwave. Blaster would have worked well n'all. Or maybe even the obvious repaints of Thundercracker and Skywarp.

There's a Thunderwing on ebay right now! Not the best condition and no weapons, so might go for a decent price if anyone is interested. And a small tip if anyone here does win it, the worn away black paint on the shell, just use a black sharpie or similar. Made mine look so much better. |

You can get repo stickers, which'll make it look a lot better. I'm interested to see what it goes for anyway, don't see many Thunderwings on ebay.

£20? thats crazy, but Jaymz is right black sharpies make such a difference to toys in that state you could probably get it looking good. The silver sharpies are also amazing for things like Blasters head. Also adding detail to toys like movie prime.

But has been repainted as other things. And Nightscream Reverse does look a bit like Thundercracker You mean the Supreme one ? Yeah,. thankfully unrepainted. |

Another Thunderwing on ebay. That one a little more expensive though. Seller also has a complete Bludgeon and a complete Longtooth. As much as I want a Bludgeon gun and Longtooth accessories, it's out of my budget. And a Skyhammer for Blueshift to miss out on. |
