I'll be interested in seeing more of this as more final images/reviews appear, but its still not quite ticking that box that MP10 did for me. Its not a bad looking Prime by any stretch of the imagination, it just lacks that "wow" factor for me.
Granted if MP10 didn't exist I imagine this'd be a lot more appealing.

Mouth plate looks a little big and what's going on with the shoulders? Are they going for super articulation? His arms seem to be detaching from their sockets.

Could be mis transformed with the left arm being too far out & you can see the bottom part not pushed in so the shoulder joint shound be hidden. The right arm is pushed in more, maybe to support the gun.

Indeed. But the fact that they *do* swing out that easily leaves me worried. (Even when you factor in the fact that the people who set up these displays usually cannot transform things for toffee.)
And that large mouthplate seems to be a homage to the couple of iconic scenes in Transformers the Movie where he's drawn with a slightly larger mouthplate than usual...

You don't have to feel anything. It's just that instead of knocking out yet another MP10 recolour to match all the MP+ anime recolours that Takara have done recently, they decided to do a totally new figure that will sit better with the super-anime styled MP Megatron. It doesn't mean the whole line is starting again.
What I would like is them to have a look at what Maketoys have been doing with the jets and give us a new Starscream to start that ball rolling again. Those look SO much better than the old MP mould.
