I wonder if Retro is feeling retro now that he is retro. Surge would also be feeling Retro when they connect together.

It's not you fault that his mind thinks that way. Don't blame yourself.

Changing the subject slightly, Retro would also feel a Surge.

Missile Launcher: it's the one I have all of.
I need the Micromasters from the Canon Transport and all bar the back half of the Tanker Transport

Your criteria for deciding which toy is best is whether or not you own it? I suppose there's some logic in that. A toy is much better if you have it than if you don't. Martin

I think it's about physically experiencing the toy, although you don't need to own it for that.

Yeah, there are many TF's I have never owned but have had a shot of so have a physical memory of what they are like.

Anti Aircraft base easily. Love this toy - cheaply made, but has a lot going on. One of the toys that didn't apear in fiction so I still see Space shot & Blackout with the personalities I gave them in Transtrip. Little gits.
Never too fond of the Battlefield Headquarters - seemed like more of an Action Master vehicle in retrospect. Do like the way it can store Micromasters though.

Battlfield HQ looks like it was designed by a completely different team to the rest of the Micromaster toys!
Only larger MM toy with no base connectors!

I wonder if it was supposed to have a base mode but it was scrapped the last minute? The cheaper Combiner Transports have more going in than this - and this is the HEADQUARTERS. There must be a story somewhere about this but with it being such an obscure toy I doubt any one has bothered to look into it.
My mad theory is that Hasbro got the name of this and Prime's Action Master truck mixed up.

I had the Battlefield HQ as a kid, (still do, actually) and I adore the chunky Micros that come with it. They alone nearly swing the vote, but yeah, the Anti-Aircraft Base looks the better toy.
I reserve the right to switch my vote if it looks like its going to be a wipeout though. The HQ doesn't deserve that.

I do like the idea ot the actual Micromasters turning into the same vehicle as their vehicle. Or is it the other way around? Either way, it's a great wind up for the scale enthusiasts. Also, it's ironic that the Anti Aircraft Tank is driven by two halves of an aircraft.

Martin It's a truck that turns into two planes that can combine into a bigger plane! Kid me enjoyed that. I wasn't fussed about building cities or ramps or connectors. Didn't have any of the wee square city box toys as a kid, either, maybe that's why. I liked putting Groundshaker on Countdown but that was enough.

AUTOBOT HEADQUARTERS. I have always wanted one.
RE-ISSUE MICROMASTER BASES, HASBRO! They would work with Earthrise!
