That is such a great line. Bluestreak is one of the unsung heroes of the early years. Bluestreak was the first Transformer I ever saw and my fist contact with them at all - in the advert in a comic whilst on holiday (the one showing the toys of Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Thundercracker & Rumble). My first thought was "Cor - Robo Machines that have guns. And one that turns into a tape!!!"

I've voted each week but haven't posted any thoughts... UNTIL NOW. ;-)
Week 1 - Went for Bumblebee, based mainly on the fact he was the only 84 minibot I actually had as a child (though sending away with a video offer, I think?). And great fun he was too.
Week 2 - Laserbeak, based on Laserbeak's Fury being one of the earliest TF memories I have. It wasn't till years later I actually owned any of them, when I think the Jolly Giant had some in stock in the early 90s...
Week 3 - Jazz! I got into Transformers in 1990, when the classics were coming out. I'd bought some Micromasters before, and a few comics and videos. but Jazz was one of the first two 'big' TFs I ever got, for my birthday (Inferno was the other). I was never a huge fan of him, but I can't not vote for him here! Plus, he looks amazingly cool in that picture.
I think this all shows what a terrific start the line had. So many memorable characters, striking looking toys etc.

I must now confess... it had to be Ratchet. Mirage was a very close second though. Just because of Man of Iron...

I hadn't realised there were so many people reading this forum. Martin We have a small yet dedicated roster of heavy posters and a pool of less frequent posters but a fairly healthy number of lurkers reading the forum: usually over 200 daily. -Ralph

But for so many of us to care about a series of arbitrary and inconsequential (sorry, Phil) 1980s toy opinion polls boggles the mind!
Though I suppose it takes an even bigger fool to spend time posting about the number of people who care about a series of arbitrary and inconsequential toy opinion polls...

Yup. I was adjusting for that. 'Guests' are usually over 300 a day but I don't assume that means 300 different non-registered non-robots.
