In Demand had the Selects Spy Patrol back for sale again... for about 20 minutes. Got it in my cart, was distracted by needing to attend to the Scraplet, came back and it had sold out. Oh well. It was never to be...

I remember the days when toys went on sale and we could just buy them when time/budget allowed. There was no need to be glued to the net 24/7. Good times.

IDT Facebook says Arcee, Airwave and ER Megatron all arrive on Wednesday. Quite surprised given Kapow told me their Arcees aren’t due for another few weeks!

Ah right, explained in the comments. Exclusives Monday, any future retail releases revealed at the show go up for preorder Fri & sat night. So that would be Kingdom w1 etc.

At 10pm what is revealed at Pulsecon goes up for pre-order.
The Hasbro exclusives (ie what would have been Sdcc exclusives) go on sale Monday as mandated by Hasbro UK. So Quint Pit, SW Wampa etc.
I am sure putting them on order at 12 noon is sure to be popular (sarcasm). What with these being the exclusives folk have been really waiting on and won't get if they are at work then.
I do shake my head at Hasbro these days.

Well this is all shaping up to being a massive success. A very real possibility that we won’t be able to get the Quint Pit since it’ll be snapped up, and if we do we’ll be paying over the odds for it. Good job, there.

I'm finding myself oddly ambivalent about this. I don't think I actually care. These are characters that are important to my collection, but I prefer the colours on the retail judge and not having the baliff isn't a massive thing, the Alicon is much nicer. The sharkticon I don't like the colours on, and the out of scale slugs don't have any purpose. I'm much more concerned about getting the Wampa.
It's quite astonishing that of all those exclusives, Hasbro UK aren't getting the Transformers one. Whether that's their choice or a decision from the other end it seems ludicrous. I'm surprised too that if ID can import some that Kapow aren't. It's a real shame that these processes can't be sorted out properly.
If I get the option to buy one I probably will, but I'm not going to fret about it like I do over characters that can't be bought elsewhere.

Hasbro increasingly try my patience with how they sell toys. I can't be arsed with these instant sellouts anymore that have crept into the hobby this year.
