Both Kapow and Star have confirmed they aren't getting it as Hasbro UK aren't carrying it. ID's are imports so I imagine not that many.

I've noticed at home their site works better with my higher powered desktop rather than my ageing Laptop so my second machine today is the netbook I bought just to use Zoom on which, bar Zoom and Firefox, has NOTHING else on it. When people were having trouble Saturday it worked fine.
Both at and my Laptop are sitting here logged into both IDToys and Paypal. My Paypal password is on the clipboard. I've got ID's pages for Earthrise, TF & Pulsecon opened. The Quest is The Quest!

So we seem to have had some Hub success, that's good. Being at work at the time I couldn't fart about with ID's crashing website infront of a class of kids, but I'm not fussed. Takara have done these sets before some time after the event, and the Primal throne set reappeared several times because of that, so there's a chance this will reappear too. I can't even remember what last year's SDCC set was.
What irks me here is not the pit, but the Wampa. ID not only put these things up in one hit at midday, but 2 per person? On an item guaranteed to sell out? I'm rapidly going off them. Very little consideration for fairness shown. Still, Star have yet to list that item and Kapow are doing so in an hour. So there's a chance.

Whats going to irritate me now is the wait, because I cant justify the Pit set if I already have a Quintesson, at least not a full price one. To a lesser extent same goes for Allicon. But waiting too long for an announcement from Takara could mean missing those two at retail given how quickly some things vanish at the moment. |

im not a fan of ID Toys and the way they do this, it seems to be that its "We know we're going to sell out so we dont give shit about who gets them" To an extent I get the frustration, but as someone who works non standard hours I'm well aware that no time is ever good for everyone. If I work the night before I wont (naturally) be up at midday. If Im at work that night I may not be awake at 7pm. 2 per customer is a poor choice from a customer POV, but if they knew other retailers would be stocking them then getting in first and clearing out their stock I can understand from theirs. |
