I had a look a few minutes ago and I did make some purchases as they had the Double Decker coloured Lancer for £14.99, Red Swoop for £12.99, the dino tape set for £24.99 and even though I already have them I thew in the Holi and Fire (Stakeout and is it Hothouse? I know the Japanese names but not the Western names well) Micromaster set as it was only £6 for a ToyFU donation for next year.

ID will have today's exclusive up for pre-order at 1700hrs. Annoyingly I was excited because I realised this would give me an excuse to bundle some of their sale stuff in to make up to the free postage level... until I reemebered ID don't allow you to mix pre-orders with stuff that's in stock. Oh well.

Hopefully there's no need for a mad panic with these; ID may have sold out of Hothouse (they seem to carry the smallest stock of the online retailers and go out of stock very quickly) but he's still available from Kapow and Star. So it follows that today's exclusive will be around for more than thirty seconds.

There was indeed no need to panic - but that’s mostly because I wasn’t that fussed.
That said, you make a good point - Kapow do allow orders that mix pre-orders and in-stock items, so if they’re getting all these exclusives then they’re a better bet...

I was only thinking about those this morning, that Hasbro are revealing so many bloody Selects toys at the moment that the backlog of ones we haven't had is beginning to grow. I see Pulse say February for G2 Megatron and Sandstorm, while ID say December. Hasbro - I'm fine if you want to slow down a bit on the reveals if it means you can focus on delivering the ones you've shown us half a year ago. What are you? Fans Toys? |
