I've recently ordered a nice brand new shiny case (traditional white) for my old Amiga 1200.
Going to sort out a nice CF harddrive for it, and a few other bits and bobs, as I have some old unfinished Transformers fancomics on disc. I think I might try my hand at sorting out and getting back to.
I do have OS 3.5 and a cd-rom drive for the beast already.
I'm tempted by the CD32 expansion, but would need to have my CD32's capacitors replaced before upgrading. I haven't seen any sign that they're going bad, but it's only a matter of time after 25 years.
On a related topic, there's been a huge breakthrough in Amiga PowerPC emulation in the past few weeks. QEmu recently added support for the AmigaOne Sam460ex PowerPC board, allowing x86/x64 users to run the latest version of AmigaOS, MorphOS and AROS. It's incredibly slow and glitchy at the moment, so don't expect to run games like Spencer or Tower 57, but it's a start.
