The article also says that the film has slipped to a December release from May, just like all the others apart from, so far, Han Solo.

Still hoping Ep9 will be Knights of Ren vs First Order under Hux vs Resistance. With Kylo/Rey teaming up only to get the job done only to not resolve their differences in the end, Kylo leaving of his own accord.

Im torn between my fear that jj is incapable of wrapping a story up well and my hope that as the guy behind tfa he can bring some structure to the trilogy.

Unconfirmed rumours of Billy Dee coming back. Previously I would have been excited by this possibility but I fear the new films are locked in a cycle of: 'Hey! From the original trilogy: the return of your favour - oh we killed them.'
I would like to be wrong.

I hope Billy Dee comes back.
But yes, I worry that he will be offed. I think given Carrie Fisher's passing they will probably jump the narrative forward a bit.
