I do too. It's where Space City was in 1988. Nice hotel, excellent Blake's 7 convention. Those were THE days. Interesting. He knows the place well...

That BASTARD Seko has sent me that- I can't even remember what line it's from, that Prowl that was recoloured from FUCKING Hotbollocks. A nothing of a figure. Ghastly styling. An insult in plastic. Putrid, worthless, diseased. Best open it then. Glad to hear you've got it though, I can stop trying to find you one now I have opened it. It's a Prowl. But a hollow Prowl. Literally- look at all those hollow gappy gaps!

Do a search on Egham on the forum. ALL the posts mentioning it are by me before today. People know I have a connection to the area. And your own distribution depot, it would seem.

That's ok. All the limbs were designed to fit onto any leader so you didn't have to get a specific team to make a Hasbro approved gestalt robot. Didn't have a torso bot until Hun-Grr came out, and I couldn't add my Autobots to him. He'd have eaten them, most likely. Hit and miss for me finding Transformers back in the day. Lived in Norfolk then. Sometimes got very lucky, e.g., Prowl. Other times, nothing... not a goddamn thing. I ached for Soundwave, but couldn't find him anywhere. Got lucky with the likes of Megatron, Optimus Prime, several cars, Starscream, lots of Mini-Autobots. Very little '84 round me in '84. It seemed to pick up in '85. And no complete Special Team either, although I had enough bits to make some cross-faction monstrosities.

1. Legacy Gears 2. Studio Series Gnaw 3. Studio Series Swoop 4. LEGACY LEADER SANDSTORM!Ah, but do you have the updates of the other Triple Changers, hmmm? -Ralph I have Siegey-Earththing Astrotrain and Blitzwing, as part of my '84+ collection (that I only need Windcharger to complete), but none of the others. And I don't much care for them, they hold no interest to me. Their alt modes are either dull or mental. Sandstorm has nostalgasm factor and, Like Astrotrain and Blitzwing, two great alt modes.

1. Legacy Gears 2. Studio Series Gnaw 3. Studio Series Swool
4. LEGACY LEADER SANDSTORM!
Yep, that's right guys, I've broken the ',84 light-barrier!
Childhood favourite (actually, young adulthood favourite 'cos I got him when he was released during Classic Heroes).
I was watching for him coming on sale and decided to get one from ID's sale. £27!
Superb figure. What a difference the leader price-point does to a Voyager sized toy. Very reminiscent of the G1 toy which fills me with nostalgic glee.
Sandstorm is the best of the Autobot Triple Changers by a country mile. Springer is just a green brick, Broadside- I'm sorry, an aircraft carried is just too bonkers. Sandstorm is cut from the same cloth as Blitzwing and Astrotrain - proper Triple Changers with two distinct and usable vehicular modes.

Why is this the final week, Big Phil? There's more to do ain't there? The clue... is in the thread title. We can't have done them all already, surely?

Week A: How many Optimus Prime toys do you own NOW? Good idea, Big Phil! Optimus Prime: My G1 original (little more than a junker now) MP-10 6" Titanium (I think I've still got my 6"ers) Siege Earthrise 5(I also have a small-scale third-party G1y one, the trailer of which is ten times better than the Earthrise one.)

Yeah I think Llama elegantly nailed it there.
The absolute stunning centrepiece of the '84 line. Completely and utterly revolutionary. I had one, bought from Woolies, that had french packaging!
I already had Megatron and... Oh boy, happy days.
His speed of 8 has always amused me. That's one fast truck!
The way he had to holds his rifle is the only diminishing aspect of this figure. He could even assume his box-art pose!
The rock on which Transformers is built. *This* character. *This* toy. *This* year.
Why is this the final week, Big Phil? There's more to do ain't there?

SENTRY!
THIS will be my first trip to the cinema in five years!!!
I knew it! I knew they had to do him eventually! Obviously bringing him out to save the franchise! Clever of them to keep an A-lister back this long!
