Best toy for me this year is Titanmaster Apeface, narrowly edging out Titanmaster Crashbash/Clobber. I suspect Gnaw may be the toy of the year but I have not seen one yet.
Titanmaster Blaster is great.
Wheelie is the best legend toy.
Range of the year: Titanmasters, just edging out Tiny Titans.
Best CW toy was Prowl.
I want to vote for CW Scrounge but I have not seen one yet!

Combiner- Didn't we already do this one? No. We did CW Boxsets and UW Boxsets but here we're lumping both together and including the two that were released individually at retail this year (Bruticus & Sky Reign) plus Botcon Predacus. Titanmaster (head)- Again, didn't we already do this? No, We did the Titanmaster size class, which accounts for 12 toys. However there's three times as many again packed in with western deluxes, voyagers, leaders and Max. Then there's various Japanese repaints and this is for the head/robot alone

Titanmaster Crashbash - Superb toy, slightly diluted by it being used FOUR more times since - Several great modes at a small size - The Titanmaster class is the best thing to happen to TF toys this year, does something clever. Legend Sharticon - Not a banner year for the Legends class - Shockwave couldn't be held by all TFs, the tapes had peeling stickers, Wheelie wouldn't hold together and Kickback is worrying - The last assortment is the best and Sharkticon is fun. Deluxe Twinferno - Some REALLY great Deluxe this year. All of the TR toys have good points to them - But, despite his problems, I really like Twinferno - Yes his tail doesn't tab too well and he needs wrist swivels but still a great toy. Voyager Megatron - I had Sentinel Prime down for this for ages who is good fun but Megatron does all three modes well with interesting Transformation - Good year for Voyagers: Onslaught was a clever remould and betetr torso than Hot Spot, Sky Lynx was fun and Alpha Trion was mad - Nothing wrong with Galvatron that couldn't be fixed but his mask/head combination was easily the worst and marred one of the first TR toys and something people had been looking forward to. Leader Blaster - Everything the original does plus a base mode and a Titanmaster - Result.
Minicon Lord Doomitron for the name alone Deployer - Legion Thunderhoof, obviously Warrior Thunderhoof, again obviously One Step - Three Step -
CW Boxset Computron - the G2 sets were nice but Computron really shines - I expected to like the UW set better but it's not as clear cut as I thought. Plus SCROUNGE! Reissue Planet of Junk - The best version of classics Hot Rod plus a no previously released in the west Junkion together with Wreck Gar - Result. Western Exclusive Titan Force - The better of the two exclusive Brainstorms, a mad clear Sentinel Prime and a decent repaint of the RiD Windblade which is a superior toy to the T30 deluxe.
UW Boxset Galvatronus - Repaint madness - Such a joy. Legends Fort Max - Spot on deco - Yells HEAD ON and plays the Headmasters theme. Master Sword - Toy accurate Titanmaster - Base mode might be rubbish but it's great - Honourable mention for Scourge, with a different deco, and Blurr, with a better one, while any of the Headmaster that improve a bonus vehicle are great. Adventure Windblade - already said the toy mould is better, here they improve the deco. Masterpiece Didn't buy any but Shockwave, Ratchet and Inferno were tempting. Exclusive I'd like to say Convobat but he's not here yet so it'll have to be Deadlock.
Combiner Grand Galvatron - again a mad repaint but here's a toy that got EVERYTHING right. Titanmaster (head) Dubaru - it's White Lion complete with eye patch. Honourable mentions to TR Blaster's Twincast & Soundwave's Soundblaster for being mini versions of themselvces and likewise Galvatron's Energon for being mini Megatron, Legends Blaster Twincast for being Twincast and Legends Soundwave's Soundblaster for being Soundblaster. Gun Twinferno's guns - they peg together, they can be held combined as a dual cannon, they back mount, they can be used as shoulder cannons. Superb.
Older Toy The Rescue Force Jet I bought off G. Roadblock was surprisingly good, very cheap and the inner robot is still in one piece. Drift's absence had been bothering me, thanks Kaptain.
Worst Toy Victorion - DREADFUL, really dreadful colours. Institution pale green does not belong on a TF especially with that red. Swap the green for black and you'll be laughing. Not helped by a moulding error. Oddly I'm looking forward to it's Japanese repaint Megatronia a lot! By comparison Voyager Optimus is just annoying! Best Toy Legends Fort Max. BIG tf with superb interaction with smaller TFs. Surprise tape compatibility. Great battleship mode. Plus everything I said above. Needs a gun though. And a better base mode! 2017 toy you're most looking forward to Brawn/Legends Lioconvoy/Godbomber

I did my best list, but I feel there should be some honorable mentions.
•TR Walgreen Brainstorm- I was apathetic about him when announced. Despite being too big, we'd just got an amazing Brainstorm a little bit earlier. And this one just looked like Blurr in cosplay. A car pretending to be a space jet. After getting Legends Blurr, then TR Blurr, I became enamored with the mold and decided to get Brainstorm, too. It may look like Blurr in cosplay but it'll still be a fun mold. Well, getting him, and his color layout is pure art. The shade of aqua is beautiful, and the two different shades of french grey are also lovely. Not only that, but the color distribution in both modes are absolutely perfect. The only reason he doesn't replace blurr on my list is he still looks like blurr cosplaying as brainstorm.
•TFSS Bluestreak- Despite the diaclone deco never being released stateside... EVER... it's my favorite deco of the three Bluestreak decos. And the Prowl version of Dead End is my favorite CW mold. So I'm like really happy that FP chose this deco, providing somethibg actually different from the better Universe molds.
•Skylynx- It sorta fell apart, but it was a valiant effort to do something remarkably different.

All righty. Let's see if I can remember 2016...
Titanmaster Clobber - little teeny cute t-rex! Legend Rewind - because of course. Deluxe Skullcruncher - all the cars are fun, but his crocodile mode is expressive and fun. Voyager Galvatron - the caveat being that it needs a 3rd party hat. But the rest is great. Leader Powermaster Prime
Minicon Back. Because baby got- Deployer Not purchased any. Legion Grimlock - The one with the snap on luzocade armour. Warrior Not really got many, but I'd go with Windblade based on her Titan Hunters version. One Step Not purchased any. Two Step Not purchased any. And a Tickle Under- Sorry. Too much time with the niece.
CW Boxset Didn't buy any. But G2 Superion still looks good. Reissue Trypticon - no question. Western Exclusive Titan Hunters Sentinel Prime - it's ridiculous.
UW Boxset Grand Galvatron - barmy. And the only one I bought. But still. Legends Blurr - beautiful. Adventure Not purchased any. Masterpiece Optimus Primal Exclusive Erm.
Combiner Um... Hmmm. Leokaiser. Just for the concept. Titanmaster (head) Apex - for homaging page 1 of the G1 Marvel comic so wonderfully. Gun TR Galvatron's cannon - properly Galvatron that is.
Older Toy G1 Ironhide, which I got from Mr. Graham. Still my favourite G1 mold.
Worst Toy Sky Lynx - great idea, but both versions I picked up had terrible QC. Best Toy Fortress Maximus - because Fortress Maximus. 2017 toy you're most looking forward to Trypticon - because... yeah.
I'm sure I'll change my mind at some point. But that's my opinion right now.

Trypticon was 2015. Poor year for reissues, no new G1 reissues :-( Weren't Blitzwing and Astrotrain '16? Sure they're not in G1 colors, but they are their G1 toys, and are not presented as original characters. That pretty much counts in my book.

Titanmaster Skytread Flywheels - neat little homage, my daughter loves "her" Legend n/a Deluxe this is tough; I'll go for Triggerhappy, but it's close; great year for these. Voyager n/a Leader n/a
Minicon n/a Deployer n/a Legion n/a Warrior Windblade One Step n/a Three Step n/a
CW Boxset n/a Reissue n/a Western Exclusive n/a
UW Boxset Computron - a bunch of nice moulds in nice colours Legends ooh, I get to nominate another TR mould! Weirdwolf; always loved his design and colours, and the recoloured Apeface is brilliant. It should set a recolour precedent for future Apefaces. Adventure n/a Masterpiece tough again! I'm going to say Ironhide for somehow defying expectations and capturing the character well while having an innovative transformation. But I am a fan of both Hot Rod and Shockwave, too. Exclusive Club Ramjet - the only one I got, I think. He's ok. He might be on the to-sell pile this year.
Combiner n/a Titanmaster (head) Daburu, for being a bit different and a cool homage, but he really needed more paint Gun I don't think I've paid that much attention. MP Shockwave.
Older Toy I got Powerglide this year, who I guess was released last?
Worst Toy I don't think I bought anything I'd consider all that bad. Best Toy Triggerhappy 2017 toy you're most looking forward to I have high hopes for Overlord, but I'd like something to come out of left field and surprise me.

Titanmaster: Crashbash – a robot that rides around in a dinosaur is definitely doing something right Legend Shockwave – a fantastic little Shockwave which really looks the part. Great fun toy. Deluxe – Triggerhappy – really nice retread of the original, with a new transformation schema which is rather fun, and a more streamlined take on his 8-bit alt-mode. Fantastic stuff. Voyager – Sentinel Prime. Completely different in look and feel to the previous Sentinel Prime toy, but still a lot of fun. Eye-catching colour scheme to. Leader – Powermaster Optimus Prime – although the name is misleading, as he doesn’t have a Powermaster, this is still a cracking toy.
Minicon – Aerobolt. A fun little toy, and also probably the worlds largest Mini-con which provides added comedy value Deployer – Abstention – not seen enough of them. Legion – Thunderhoof – such a fun little toy. Warrior – Windblade. A great improvement on the previous Generations toy. Holds together much more securely in alt-mode. Good fun toy. One Step – Abstention, insufficient information. Three Step - Abstention, insufficient information. Larger RiD Toy: Power Surge Optimus Prime. Flip out weapons, lots of play value, a great colour scheme and a rather daft Super-Robotish tuning fork sword. Great toy. The only toy in Leader/Near-Leader size I was tempted by last year.
CW Boxset: Victorion – I really like this. I don’t have the reaction to the colour scheme that a lot of folks do, the combining leaf-themed sword is odd but fun, and I like most of the individual moulds that make it up. Reissue: - Abstention – insufficient information Western Exclusive: OFTCC Bluestreak. Really nice toy, in a colour scheme which really makes him pop.
UW Boxset: Abstention, insufficient information. Legends: Abstention, insufficient information. Adventure: Abstention, insufficient information. Masterpiece: Laserwave – you wait for years for a good Shockwave to come along, and then two show up at the same time, in different size classes. Exclusive:
Combiner: - Grand Galvatron wins this on the power of bonkersness Titanmaster (head): Gun:
Older Toy: Energon Blackout – a reacquisition of one of the Energon toys I deeply regretted having parted with previously.
Worst Toy: Best Toy: Power Surge Optimus Prime – fantastic looking toy, with enormous amounts of play value. 2017 toy you're most looking forward to: UW Baldigus – such a great redeco on the Combaticons. Very pretty looking toy.
The "There. Are. Three. Toylines!" Award for Best Rescue Bots toy: Hook and Ladder Heatwave - fun new version of the Rescue Team's leader, with a trailer that converts into a bracer that can be worn and integrates a projectile-firing gimmick. A neat idea.
