There is a chance this will come through Kapow etc. They had the first two Select toys up for preorder, but they seem to have been caught in the Hasbro UK fulfillment problem. It's feasible once Swoop & Ricochet are out (and I think ID said they had some Swoops recently) that the others, like CH Megs, will follow, then this. I think the process is *supposed* to be working, it just seems Hasbro UK can't get the stock out.
It's also possible, like with the Ghostbusters release, that Kapow get an initial import batch to satisfy the impatient, then do a UK sourced one later. Either of those options would probably be cheaper than a overseas order with CUTA attached.

It's been up for a while on UK sites but I can't bring myself to preorder the Star Convoy. It just doesn't feel like they've done enough to the vehicle or super mode.
Also, so far, not bothered with Megatron. Really not doing it for me.
Smokescreen, on the other hand, WHERE'S MY KAPOW PRE ORDER?

Part of the problem with Star Convoy is I was never that keen on the base mould, the POTP Leader. It's just not shouting Star Convoy at me in either mode really: the vehicle is a disaster and the robot.... well it's trying, but somehow a new head, shoulder cannons and a gold chest crest don't quite do enough. But if they'd fixed the cab, made the fists blue and slapped Powermaster dual cannons on the side of the truck/shoulders then I'd have been all over it. I think Star Convoy also has the misfortune of being up for pre order at the same point I've just got a sub par retool set in Big Powered.... and I liked the originals of each of those toys much more than I liked POTP Leader Op |

I kinda like it. Not as Star Convoy, but as it's own thing.
Nemesis Prime proved to me I like the base mold far better when it's divorced from it's original concept.
The original concept was just too whack and made little to no physical sense. (G1 Optimus vehicle transforms into completely wrong robot, then combines Powermaster Style with g1 trailer into oversized G1 Optimus cab robot.)
This works so much better than the orion pax to optimus prime version.
So it'll probably be it's own thing on my shelf, if not Ginrai.

General consensus is it's actually a very toy-accurate Rodimus Prime. Although given what they're putting out at the moment Kryten would make just as much sense. Just waiting a few more days for my next credit card payment, and then I'll be pre-ordering. Yes, the actual Star Convoy part is disappointing in its execution, but I can't not get the smaller robot. The action is alive! |

If the new black Prime from Takara is 'TakaraTomy Mall Exclusive Siege SG-06' are we assuming this fella is SG-01 and the first four Seacons 2-5? I know it makes no sense, but I can't see where the first five figures go.
TOO many different lines all crossing over doing the same thing for my head to cope with.
