Star Convoy looks significantly better in both robot modes.Even just how the smaller bots legs look as the larger bots back is better.

I do wish they had added a full chest piece though. Despite all the other improvements he still looks like Prime cosplaying Star Convoy.

Takara Selects is the continuation of Legends really isn't it.

I'm still not clear what the unique IP of Selects as a line actually is! Some cool stuff in it for sure but the line as a whole lacks cohesion and a sense of its' own identity.

I agree with Boga's assessment. It's where they put things that don't thematically fit anywhere else, because theme seems to suddenly be very important for Hasbro, regarding Generations.
Almost like they forgot what the point of Generations is in the first place.

Like I said before, I like this quite a bit as it's own thing more than a one to one update of Star Convoy.
I kinda wish it brought something a little different to the table than Powermaster Optimus.
I could view this as an alternate trailer+supermode, coexisting with the PM trailer+supermode.
But, it looks like it would largely do the exact same thing if it was.
Does that make any sense?

Smaller robot is a huge improvement, not perfect, but so much better.
Leader robot looks fab. Shoulder cannons swivel and elevate
