I did on mine too. It helped, but only slightly.

After nearly a year with this toy, the more time passes, the more I wish the Optimus inner robot was decoed after Actionmaster Optimus.
I'm almost positive it was at least partially inspired by it. Blue forearms and blue thighs would have done it.
And it would have felt like a natural progression of the marvel version of the character, too.

Fairly sure Andu did a digibash of it as AM Prime.

Still regretting missing out on Star Convoy.

As do I. I wavered too long due to his ****** hands and by time I decided it was gone everywhere.
This is why I had to reacquire a reissue Star Comvoy from Nick so Super Megatron will have someone to fight.

If there was a shop you could go to called, "The place you'll find what you've just decided you want now that nowhere is selling it any more" we could all rest much easier. It would get a fortune from me.

Good news! There is!
Bad news... It's called ebay.

Oh I hate that moment when you think, damn I really do want that after all, and go to eBay to find every seller has also realised it's out if stock everywhere else and has doubled the price. At which point you think... Never mind then.
Sitting on the fence is something I do exceptionally well. It's almost become a game to see how long I can push something before it becomes almost unobtainable and snatch it at the last minute. No idea why my head works like that.

With me it's often "not sure about the price" either because of the cost on its own or in relation to other spending at the time/that month's funny money budget. What I have now learned though is that if there is an Exclusive and I have the cash when the order goes up I just pounce on it. That way I don't miss out and if I change my mind later I know enough folk who will take it for cost so I am now worse off. I learned my lesson with the Siege Exclusives Apocalypse.
I get more annoyed though when I decide to get round to getting a comic collected edition and find it's already out of print and silly money!

He is a really fun toy, but he has only been in full Star Convoy mode once.

Goes for silly money though. It was cheaper for me to re-acquire the reissue of the original.

I think I'm safe. A toy that only made me consider it because it looked good with three other toys?
Still a pass, especially with no Micromaster.
