I had a POI list a few pages back I was trying to use to keep track of them but I'd need to go back through the descriptions again to see what got ticked off and when the count went up again. Maybe a straightforward

Should I list the POIs in the POI count, this way you'll not have to track them yourselves? I mean, if you're tracking them anyway, it's not like it's removing any of the challenge, just the overhead.

The glass shatters. KRYTEN engages smug mode.
Looking around you observe the walls are man made, strong looking metal. A sealed robust DOOR lies across the room, a surveillance CAMERA above it and no windows that you can make out. In front of you there's a raised platform of some kind, almost like a small PEDESTAL. At least you're clothed this time you think to yourself. DEBRIS hangs from the ceiling where the ship crashed through.
From the hanging DEBRIS, sharp metal protrudes from broken stonework, WIRES hanging down from the hole in colours of red, green, blue, white and black.
The DOOR is inset into the wall and doesn't seem to have any handles or opening mechanisms. A small dirty broken WINDOW adorns it.
The CAMERA has a small LED on the top that isn't illuminated. Behind the camera there are two plug sockets in the wall and in the back of the CAMERA itself.
Through the door WINDOW, you can see a BUTTON to the side of the door, but the control panel looks dead. There's also a DESK with some kind of diagram on a piece of PAPER on it displaying a variety of electronics notation.

KRYTEN disconnects the grey wire and uses it to connect the green and blue wires. A slight mid pitch humming can be heard from near the door.
KRYTEN moves to the door, reaches through the window to press the button but it is out of reach.

KRYTEN moves to the pedestal for a closer look, it is raised some 5 inches from the ground, with a smooth stone-like appearance. In its centre there is a slight round recess as if positioned to steady something oval in place. The recess is adorned by a myriad of trails and droplets of some kind of solidified substance. KRYTEN can only determine that it looks like some sort of secreted RESIN.

Kryten eyes the resin suspiciously, wondering if it is what is preventing the pedestal from lowering again. He also ponders that having something sticky on the end of the metal rod might make it useful for getting to things that are out of reach, like the paper on the desk. However he also thinks that we have already seen what is on the paper and without the metal rod we can't reach it anyway.

I don't think we have anything to throw, besides we'd have to throw it through the hole in the door and bounce it off the opposite wall back onto the button next to the door.
You could try your Shockwave skill to see if you can blast the door open, but that would leave you with 1 stamina.
Cat - are your arms particularly dexterous being a cat? can you try?

KRYTEN moves to take a closer look at the resin encrusting the top of the pedestal. As he leans in and extends his finger to get a touch, the sound of stone scraping can be heard as the pedestal starts to sink into the floor. As it lowers it reveals a dark hole, the sound of mechanics can be heard as something seems to shift into place. From where you are all located, none of you can see what it may be. The original stone scraping sound starts again...

The scraping continues as the pedestal rises to full height. LISTER takes aim with his Bazookoid, firing a blast of concentrated energy towards the egg.
LISTER Strength+Agility (9+5) skill check difficulty 20, for Bazookoid shot. RAND20 = 17, 17 + 14 >= 20, Success! LISTER +1 point
The shot darts across the room in the direction of the egg, impacting on its target spraying debris in all directions. KRYTEN positioned close to the pedestal is in imminent danger!
KRTYEN RAND5 for danger, failure on 1-4. RAND5 = 5, success!
The debris misses KRYTEN somehow as bits of the egg fall to the floor emitting a slight hissing as small bubbles form as the internal fluids seem to burn the surface slightly, but to no serious effect.
