Also, WOOOOOO! Potentially affordable Cryotek!!!!! TM2 Megatron I was initially not that interested in. I saw the initial picture on Jo's phone, and just dismissed it as a lazy engineering re-use of LG BW Megatron. But having seen the clearer pictures, and pictures of the dragon mode, I'm much more taken with it. It clearly does have a very similar transformation to the previous Megatron, but that dragon mode is really nice looking. I'll not be rushing to buy it, but I will be very tempted... |

Edit: oh, actually, I think he's burning him with fire. I thought it was a mace at first.

I usually prefer Megatron to be the one that's slightly bigger, but I can go with that. Well, scale wise, Megs is probably a tad too big. Optimal Optimus was the size of a medium autobot. When Megs got upgraded, he was pretty big, but he wasn't as big as Optimus. Makes me hopeful that a commander class OpOp is in the works. |

Yeah, but kingdom/legacy has been focused on show scale, over toys.
The only real glaring exception has been Rattrap, who was way too small as a core.

I don't have time to look atm, as I'm about to get ready for work, but I'll dig around tonight.
Oddly enough, it might be easier to piece together through Beast Machines, as Megatron was both TM2 and Optimal, and Primal was pitted against both bodies.

Okay, so with some halfassed searching, I've not been able to find and useful shots that aren't fan art or toys (most of those 3P). But there are these two official Mainframe created group shots.   It does put both of them with characters we're used to seeing together. And it does seem to me that Megatron isn't much larger than his Transmetal form, and is more on par with Tigerhawk. So, a bit smaller than Optimal. |
