Anyway, I can't believe I've not posted about this, but I am, of course, very excited by these. The only thing that might be a touch weird is that the head is going to remain flat whilst also being articulated. I know that that is accurate to the original toy and indeed his depiction in the One True Canon, but I can't help but worrying it might look a bit odd in the plastic... |

Looks good.
The only thing that'd improve it, is if the front wheels slid up towards the elbow slightly to make the hands stand out more.

Cost me about £150 for both toy and cartoon Optimus from Amazon JP. The 2 minibots come to about £80 with shipping, but that depends on what the exchange rate with the Yen is like in Nov/Dec when they're released. UK shops would buy from Hasbro Asia. Takara Tomy isn't allowed to sell TF product outside of Japan. |
