My money's on that being Sunstorm, Enemy, Buzzsaw and Soundblaster. Who else could it be..? When I saw the original tweet, I thought I'd love it to be Sunstorm. There was such a fuss about him when he was introduced but he almost completely disappeared into obscurity. |

Considering that quote about how hasbro had forced DWJ to redraw the insignia where they looked bad, and the state of the one on Soundwave's chest, I suspect these are marketing assets put together from his sketches and that some other unknown marketing bod has flipped Soundwave, rather than it being a decision on Dan's part to put the shoulder cannon on that side. #speculation
Also: he's way too small

I hope not and it would also lose the lapsed fan/casual punter they are looking to pick up.
Intrigued as to what he does, and given DWJ has said the 86 movie was his bible, well no issues with Rumble being his Sunbow colours.
Still looking forward to this immensely.

A little bit disappointed by that - they deviated enough from the expected core team of Autobots (by including Arcee and swapping out Bumblebee for Cliffjumper) that they could at least have swapped a different other Seeker in. I mean I understand why they'd want Starscream and Soundwave and at least one of the cassettes for general recognisability reasons, but I'm not sure that Skywarp is particularly well known to the average comics buyer on the street that they couldn't have gotten away with swapping in Slipstream instead. Also Skywarp just had a fun storyline in IDW 2.0, so there's something to live up to there. Which makes a change. But here we are.
The big interesting thing, of course, is that Megatron is not present. Which is very much in keeping with the recent movies. So we'll see how that plays out...

Maybe finally get a tank Megatron that when transformed looks gun like. So then we can get a toyline for the comic too. The tank Megatron toys are getting really limited with being the same transformation all the time. The tank treads could fold round to look like the gun handle - re EJ Su covers for IDW 2005.
