They all looked really good at Botcon, but the price is going to be killer. If I had more than 1 of those figures already I probably wouldn't be this excited about it but the only 1 I have is Arcee. So it's 4 figures I don't have and I'd have spent £50 on Magnus anyway. It's just a question of whether to preorder or hope for it to come in stock and get reduced. |

Yeah, that's a really nice looking set. But I already have Magnus and Arcee, and I don't want to pay the premium. Shame they're re-releasing the molds so soon after original release, really. 'Cos a few years down the line that would be much more interesting.

I think that's quite a decent price to be honest Its not bad at all but I only want the redeco Sentinel Prime cos I've preordered Brainstorm from IDToys and no interest in the Windblade. |

Its very 'meh'. I've got 2 versions of the Megatron and Optimus molds. 3 of the Optimus if you count classics Ultra Magnus.
At £40 it's very reasonable though.

Clearly Kapow don't understand how the whole Platinum model is meant to work.

A lot of the Plat stuff was cheap at RORC - especially the G1 stuff. Maybe the toy dealers have decided it's better to sell at a small profit when people are interested rather than have to give it away?

Which gives an indication that it's Hasbro killing us with the price on this one. It'll be in the thousands at TRU. I'm still ordering it though. Slightly apprehensive about ordering it just now cos there's no release date so does that mean they don't have one or just that it's imminent? |
