It was made in 1950! -Ralph So? We have only just begun the Dixon quest. This is all new top quality entertainment to me. I've just had to completely empty the living room so the OReily men can move in on it tomorrow. The only thing left in there is the virgin box, plugged in to record Dixon so I don't have to use the awkward catch up service. This is top draw telly!

I should think it would do if it was made in 1950.

I need to use the catch-up again for Dixon. My box recorded it this time, but due to the OReilly men the box is not currently connected to a TV. Mrs P has expressed an in interest in Danger UXB.

You're a bit of a latecomer.
Been one of mine for ages, Fleischer Superman shorts, loads of cracking shite horror films, you watched that Terror of the Tongs film at mine while you were still up here.

I hadn't encountered it personally until a couple of weeks ago. I understand it is often "watched" in the nursing home my grandfather finished his days living in, and my stepdad watches it for "Danger:UXB".
Of course, as I have no signal through an aerial, and no cable connection I miss the experience of discovering things by accident when it comes to TV - I only have what I have specifically chosen to put on my Roku box, so there are none of these "good grief, X has Y on it!" moments that you get with broadcast telly. :-(
I am tempted to see if I can get it on a proper digital platform for "Danger:UXB",always wanted to see that.

Dixon is trapped on my telly recorder. Once the Oreilly men get out of the living room I can put the TV back in there and watch them. Fortunately due to magic, I can see what the box is recording via an app, so I know the eps are safe.

Lots more tense board room meetings in THE BROTHERS this week.
DIXON OF DOCK GREEN made a gag about husbands slapping their wives about. One of those "did I hear that right?" brief comments. 1955, hmmm?

I'm missing Dixon. Three eps now on the recorder trapped in the living room. There could be binge watching when I can finally get back in there.

I *may* be back in the living room this weekend, in which case I can get the TV back connected to the very lonely Virgin box that's recording all these.
Have you heard the radio series? David Tennant played Andy in the first series of that.
And David 'Nathan Spring' Calder was George.

Yes, I have heard it. Series 2 wasn't as good as series 1 so it was best it was left there.

Yup. Apparently a film collector realised, probably through the the TPTV run, that the print he had was missing. He loaned it to be the BBC who duplicated it, and Mr Roberts let TPTV know they had an extra program for them.
The news has prompted me to extract the Dixon posts into their own thred
