I will be recording that so I can be on the call. It will be cherished. Has that even had a disc release? I'm really excited.

I think only a small amount ever got a physical release.
A run of what's left of Z-Cars would also be nice.

Disaster! My tellybox didn't record the episode. It should have done. I think it ignored it because it classed the episode as a repeat. Series link reset to record everything.
Now to the encore service...

I am not saying it to be mean, merely managing expectations.

Caught the first Dixon via catch-up before it got replaced with ep 2. More soapy than I expected but very enjoyable proper TV. George seems the stout, upright kind of gentleman you can rely on, but I'm surprised he lets his daughter's fella live in as a lodger, even if he is a copper too. Bit forward for 1956!
1956... This is pre-Who, Quatermass era TV. We need more of this on telly!

You are aware that Dixon of Dock Green is in the same continuity as Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes?

I don't think I'd have remembered that. I remember the bit in Life on Mars when he goes to Trumptonshire.

This was Ashes to Ashes, quite late on, when they're revealing what's going on and hints at how Dixon is alive in his series when he was killed in The Blue Lamp en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blue_Lamp

The Blue Lamp was on TV on Friday afternoon, coincidentally.
Or perhaps it's no coincidence. Does the Hub control everything I see and hear?
