Tra Gen Legacy Star Seekers Leader ThundertronNow this one is really interesting! His name previously turned up as a mainline voyager. So did his base mold change, or is he being packed with something? Two possibilities I see: • Lioconvoy repaint/retool packaged with SS86 Starscream's throne • Tigerhawk repaint I sincerely doubt they are gonna make a new mold leader class of an obscure lion for a capsule line Thank you for looking up Filch. Yes I agree, ROTB Mainline Airazor Ferak is another Botcon toy, previously a Cyclonus repaint, Class size indicates that's the plan here too. Roadpig - Animated Prowl? Thank you for looking up Filch. Yes I agree, ROTB Mainline Airazor Whilst I don't normally go in for repaints, I think I could be persuaded in this case if it was a really good one. And we want to try and convince Hasbro to release more of the RiD 2015 'Cons, because there are some really interesting designs in there. Lockdown - blindingly obvious it's Axelgrease It wasn't to me - but then I'm not well. But you're probably right. |

One question, though: Are we sure that the Star Seekers Lockdown is that Lockdown, and not the movie one..? Not been a Movie toy in Legacy yet and Axelgrease is begging for a Lockdown repaint. I'm reasonably sure. |

So Star Seekers Leader Thundertron then could be * United Voyager repaint + ??
* Lioconvoy repaint/retool + ??
* Tigerhawk repaint The two Voyager options, and I think United Voyager repaint looks more likely at this point, both involve adding something I do like the Throne suggestion above, but does Thundertron have a history of sitting on Thrones? A core? Bulderclash, the rock bike/sword repaint? More than a Core? Some Battlemasters - that ROTB Cheetor would work well? Could you get a deluxe in there? If this is a real thing that will happen, I doubt they'll use a different mold.
So I think the likelihood that it's Voyager+Pack-in is pretty high.
If it was +a unique character, it would likely say "Thundertron with/vs ______" or some set title, which is what we've seen in recent history.
So I think it's got the highest probability of it being an SS86 Starscream situation. A minimally different Voyager Thundertron, with some new pack in prop.
And while I don't think he's known for thrones, thanks to Star Trek, the Captain's Chair is a pretty big trope now.

Axelgrease has nothing at all in common with Lockdown, except a vague resemblance in vehicle mode.
Chase however has a virtually identical transformation (the way the legs are the length of the car), with all the parts of vehicle lining up to the same places in robot.
He has the exhaust vents on the side exactly like Lockdown, a feature Chase has never had (a feature also lacking from everyone on your list). His capture claw becomes a hook hand as is, if they chose to not make him a new one.
And reusing a few parts does not preclude them from a full scale retool.
And the best part? It wouldn't be from the worst mold of 2023.

Like I said, axlegrease only has superficial matches.
Chase matches in his core. Reshell the car, and he's a perfect match.
At least as perfect as AniBee is.

Neither look much like him, but it's a better mold, and it matches Road Rocket better, aesthetically. I don't hate crashbar like I do the tow truck/car junkion, but it's nowhere near as good as AniProwl, and it's a terrible motorcycle. (It works for him, but not as a non-junkion.) |

I actually think Crashbar will work great as Roadpig. There are enough similarities that I'd believe it was always the plan.
And Axlegrease will become Lockdown, obviously.

There's been some discussion about that either upthread, or elsewhere in the United thraed, with our Learned Texan Colleague favouring a theory doing the rounds that Chase will be remoulded as Lockdown.
Personally I can't see it at all, and agree with you that Axelgrease is a shoe in, but I've seen lots of other people saying they think Chase is Lockdown.
