In ASDA , you will find A HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE IN 100 OBJECTS for half RRP.
It has a two-page entry on MILO CLANCY'S TOASTER, including a large newly produced colour illustration of said item. The book is absolutely bonkers.

I highly recommend Justyce Served, the book about the Audio Visuals (in many ways the amateur pre-cursor to Big Finish). Despite never having heard any of them other than a few clips, I found this to be a very interesting and accessible read and the story summaries are well written enough that they give a very good flavour of what they are about. Couple that with interviews with the creators, good layout and production values, an infectious enthusiasm from the authors, loads of visual interest (yes!) and it even comes with a CD-ROM with trailers for the plays and other material. It's a winner. Revised and updated. Corrections. Ton of new commentary footnotes. An Index. Airlock and UM2. A massive new HQ audio find. confirmation of just what was destroyed in the Sierra Leone civil war. And that's just from a quick flick through last night

The audio that's been found is the copies one generation up from Richard Russel's tapes. Supposedly excellent quality if presenting unique technical challenges. Mark's having something built to play them back properly.
